Serie A Week 33: Short Game Previews of Sunday's Matches
Juventus vs Cagliari
This match is absolutely instrumental if Juventus are going to turn their season around, the club has actually put a media blackout in place which illustrates just how seriously they are taking this match.
Juventus are only one point outside of a European qualification, but they have two trips to Milan in their last six matches which is not something to look forward to.
On paper, Cagliari should be no challenge for Juventus, but their recent slump of form would indicate that the match could go either way.
Roma vs Atalanta
Roma’s fantastic form would suggest that Atalanta don’t have much of chance at beating the home side, who haven’t lost in their last 22 games.
Atalanta, on the other hand, aren’t doing very well away from home, they have lost all three of their last away games and have only picked up two points from the last nine.
They don’t look likely to break that cycle on their visit to Rome.
AC Milan vs Catania
AC Milan have not lost at to Catania in the last 17 Serie A games and have never lost at home to them in the top flight.
Added to which Milan’s home form has been nothing short of spectacular since the turn of 2010, so far they are undefeated this year.
Catania have been pretty poor away from home having only picked up two points from their last four matches, it seems more fairly certain that AC Milan will win this match without too much difficulty.
