Manchester United Targets Hamsik and Neuer: The Building of a Dream Team
Manchester United's next season dream team building has already been started by the signing of the Mexican forward "Chicharito" Hernandez with a transfer fee of around £10m.
Manchester United are ready to make a summer move for Serie A hotshot Marek Hamsik of Napoli.
The Old Trafford manager, Sir Alex, is ready to spend the cash to bring in the £16m-18m-rated Napoli man. Sir Alex Ferguson is ready to bring in new additions when the season comes to an end and thus strengthen his Red Devils squad.

The 22-year-old Slovakian has been in prolific form this season and has been a mainstay of the club’s steady climb into the top quarter of the Italian league.
Hamsik has become a new hero in the list and whilst Napoli is struggling with its financial problems they will find it hard to prevent the youngster from heading towards the European elite.
Hamsik, a combative attacking midfielder and very good in a central midfield role also would be viewed as a player capable of filling Scholes’s goalscoring midfielder role. Plus, Anderson is in his best non-performing role and Owen Hargreaves is absent still after injury. So, the need of a playmaker in the team cannot be ignored.
Hamsik has scored 11 goals this season for Napoli in 32 appearances and has already been a key member of the attack in his National team. Hamsik has shown incredible potential in Italy for Napoli but seems to have outgrown the club but will be more likely to move out to secure Champions League football.
While Nani and Valencia are pouring their much-needed contribution along the flanks, the addition of Hamsik to the support of Fletcher and Carrick will be a great move for the Red Devils. Youngsters like Gibson are also coming up to play good games to the United level.
Can Marek Hamsik be the next big thing?
As we come to the next part of the story, Sir Alex has been on a hunt for finding an able replacement to his aging goalkeeper Edwin Van Der Sar for quite a time.
The inhouse members Kuszczak and Foster, neither of them are up to the level to be the first choice Goalkeeper for United. So, while VDS turns 40 this term, United has to go for a next legend search.
Manchester United is reported to be in the running for Schalke goalkeeper Manuel Neuer, who is seen as Edwin Van Der Sar's replacement.
United manager Sir Alex Ferguson sent his goalkeeping coach, Eric Steele to scout the German international, who turned 24 years old and is in a prolific form in the Bundesliga as well as the number one goalkeeper for Germany at present.
With Schalke asking for £10-15 million for Neuer, Ferguson might be keen to bring the German to Old Trafford in the summer and we can see another great player playing in the Red Devils outfit.
Schalke are looking for goalkeepers to replace Neuer if he moves out, as their scouts are reported to go for Green, the West Ham goalkeeper.
Can Neuer be the heir to Edwin Van Der Sar?
United is keen on building a dream squad on the young and experienced grounds. The signing of Fulham defender Smalling and the development of Jonny Evans give United cover and edge in competition while Nani’s long-awaited maturity and Antonio Valencia’s impressive debut season mean a good next season to the Red Devils.
While these two transfers are reported to be in a competition with EPL clubs like Arsenal and Chelsea, the dual transfer target of 30m approx can be a boon for United.
The old guards Scholes and Giggs are less likely to be featured regularly and thus the presence of a player like Hamsik can make a world of difference. Also, Neuer will be a brilliant option to replace Van Der Sar and at such a price.
Given the new indication from Glazer that £80-100m is in the bank for United to use in the transfer window and make a stronger team, Sir Alex is not looking for any major high-price signings till now and will be more interested in bringing in younger players who can play and develop as stars at the Old Trafford.
United can create the Wonders (best wishes for the next season)!
