Hull vs Burnley

Boateng’s fitness is about 50/50 ahead of the match and he will be given a last minute fitness test before his side tackle Burnley today. Hunt is also unlikely to be fit, but at Hull City Sonko will be returning to the side.

Burnley’s captain Cadwell has recovered from his groin injury and might make his first start since December, but Jordan remains out with a knee injury.

Both sides have had poor form recently with Burnley having only won one match from their last 22 and Hull having lost six from their last seven. Hull are coming off a fortunate win against Fulham, but it seems more than unlikely that this is a sign of any massive change.

West Ham vs Sunderland

West Ham’s Scott Parker will be absent due to a two match ban he received for picking up his 10th yellow card at Everton last weekend. It is likely Behrami will take Parker’s place. Also it seems unlikely that either Diamanti or Franco will be fit enough to play.

Sunderland are having even bigger problems with absentees. It looks like captain Cana will be unable to play and there are fitness doubts over Turner. This comes when Sunderland already have three players absent due to injury.

Neither side is displaying good form, but it would seem that West Ham’s is slightly worse. They have only managed 27 points from 33 games and have not won any of their last 7 matches and in those they have conceded 17 goals. It seems that Sunderland should have an edge.
