Abysmal Goal.com : World Cup Under Threat By Islamic Fundamentalists
Goal.com, better known as one of the most famous and most disrespected websites in the world of football have today, retardedly claimed that the World Cup is under the threat of "Islamic Fundamentalists".
The article, written poorly by a Cyrus C. Malek, stated some of the following:
"The World Cup has been specifically targeted by the terrorist group referred to by the Western world as Al-Qaeda, according to media sources around the world. "
"How amazing could the match between the United States and England be if, during a live broadcast with a stadium packed with spectators, the sound of an explosion rumbles through the stands, the whole stadium is turned upside down and the number of dead bodies are in their dozens and hundreds, God willing," reads a statement the group published in a recent issue of the Jihadi online magazine Mushtaqun Lel Jannah (Longing to Paradise) and reproduced by U.S. news source CBS ."
"Whilst some question the validity of a single organised Islamic terrorist cell that refers to itself as 'Al Qaeda', any and all threats to the safety of security to players and fans must be taken with all seriousness."
First of all, "Al-Qaeda's" original name is Al Qaeda, stating that it's referred to the Western world as Al Qaeda is downright moronic, there wasn't even a need to write that useless line.
I wonder what they call it in the Arab world then. "The Base", or "The Terrorists", maybe?
Goal.com trying to write as many words as possible to have some story. How typical of them.
The second paragraph is even more pathetic than the first.
Now, half my mother's family is American, the other half English, and instead of worrying by these idiotic claims, the two teams playing each other here is still not the point.
Seeing how Al Qaeda, are, an "Islamic terrorist group" as pathetic goal.com claim that they are, I wonder if they'll risk the Algerians lives.
Algeria, the only Arab and Muslim country in the tournament is in the same group as the England and the United States teams. Risking the lives of Muslims, even in the eyes of these terrorists is a bit of a stretch, assuming that goal.com is correct in the assumption that they are an "Islamic terrorist group".
"the whole stadium is turned upside down and the number of dead bodies are in their dozens and hundreds, God willing".
To even relate that to Islam is horrible.
If you even knew the first thing about Islam, you would have known that this is way beyond the realms of Islam, and into the realms of terrorism, it has no religion and is not related to Islam in anyway.
Also, putting God willing in the end of every sentence has nothing to do with Islam, Muslims use it often, but not in this manner.
You can't go to someone and say, "Hey! I'm gonna rape your family, God willing".
You're trying to ruin the image of over one billion people, without even saying their side of the story, because you barely know it.
And finally, the most pathetic paragraph of all, the last one.
"Whilst some question the validity of a single organised Islamic terrorist cell that refers to itself as Al Qaeda".
How sloppy can you get Mr. Cyrus?
You stated that they are known to the Western world as Al Qaeda, and you just wrote that they refer to themselves as Al Qaeda, isn't that a blatant contradiction?
We read more meaningful stuff in the tabloids.
And finally, the most disgusting thing of all;
"a single organised Islamic terrorist cell".
Now, I'm not gonna accuse you of racism or anything, but for the last few years, there have been world wide campaigns that were launched with the sole reason of stating to people one very important message.
Terrorism has no religion.
You calling it an Islamic organised terrorist group is abysmal and disgraceful, even by your website's mediocre standards.
Perhaps you can argue that goal.com has an Arabic section in it's website, but that isn't even gonna wash this away.
Let's go with the whole terrorist story being real.
What on earth does that have to do with Islam?
When Hitler went all out to kill the Jews, no one called Christians terrorists, he was doing something that all Christians were against.
In what way are we different then?
I wouldn't have minded your story referring to Al Qaeda as terrorists, they are.
But the whole Islamic terrorists bull the likes of you keep writing is downright pathetic, we have been through this numerous of times, and all I can ask of you is to please learn about the topic of which you were meant to speak of, before speaking of it in the first place.
Good luck and good riddance.
