Fantasy Basketball Box Score Breakouts: 4/7/10
With the NBA season nearing its close, hereโs a look at some fantasy basketball players that blew up the box score last night.
Earl Barron, New York Knicks
Barron had his second straight solid game for the Knicks with 15 points and nine rebounds.
Toney Douglas, New York Knicks
Douglas added 20 points. Heโs averaging 12.8 in his last five games.
Nick Young, Washington Wizards
Young had another strong performance with 21 points. Heโs worth using in most leagues.
J.J. Redick & Mickael Pietrus, Orlando Magic
Both Redick and Pietrus had 16 points. Both are only options in daily leagues.
Sonny Weems, Toronto Raptors
Weems had 21 points against the Celtics. Heโs averaging 14 over his last five games.
Antoine Wright, Toronto Raptors
Wright had 17 points and seven rebounds. Heโll be asked to step up his game with Chris Bosh out.
Austin Daye, Detroit Pistons
Daye had 13 points and 10 boards. He should get more run down the stretch in Detroitโs lost season.
Carlos Arroyo & Dorell Wright, Miami Heat
Arroyo had 15 points and Wright added 19. Neither are fantasy options.
Kurt Thomas, Milwaukee Bucks
Thomas had 12 points and 10 rebounds against the Nets. Heโs a decent option for rebounds in deep daily leagues.
Jerry Stackhouse, Milwaukee Bucks
Stack is not a fantasy option despite the 18 he dropped on the Nets.
Anthony Tolliver, Golden State Warriors
Tolliver had 34 points and eight rebounds against the defenseless Wolves. Heโs a decent option, but he wonโt face many defenses quite as soft.
Ryan Gomes & Darko Milicic, Minnesota Timberwolves
They didnโt play defense, but Gomes had 19 points while Darko added 16 and seven rebounds. Both are options for deep daily leagues only.
Tyson Chandler, Charlotte Bobcats
Chandler had 16 points and nine rebounds. Heโs a low-end fantasy option.
Marcus Thornton & Darren Collison, New Orleans Hornets
With Chris Paul done for the year, look for these two to be big down the stretch.
Arron Afflalo, Denver Nuggets
Afflalo had 17 points. Heโs not a fantasy option.
