Rematch Of The Century?

As you can see from the photo I have chosen for this article, it states that The Undertaker Vs Shawn Michaels was "Rematch Of The Century". I have to say that I strongly agree with this.

I don't think there was any match on the WrestleMania XXVI card that could have compared to this match. Even in the weeks leading up to this match, there was talk online of what match could possibly end WrestleMania XXVI.

This match was so big that it was kept to the very last match, and that's quite rare for WrestleMania considering the main event at WrestleMania is usually a championship match.

This match could not have happened at a better time, both men who are still top dogs in the WWE battling it out one last time to see who was the better man.

On one hand you had The Undertaker. A man who is undefeated at WrestleMania. A man who is feared by many in the WWE and a man that will take no prisoners.

On the other hand you had The HeartBreak Kid, Shawn Michaels. A man that is Mr.WrestleMania. A man that could take you by surprise, a man that has earned his spot in the WWE as The Showstopper.

This match to me was a must see. Either The Undertaker's WrestleMania winning streak would come to an end, or the legendary storybook career of Shawn Michaels would come to an end.

Watching this match gave me goosebumps, and when The Undertaker gave Shawn Michaels the tombstone, I literally jumped off my chair and onto the floor when Shawn Michaels kicked out. I truly believed that Shawn Michaels could have done it.

I have to admit, that the happiest moment in that match for me was when Shawn Michaels picked himself up, and then he slapped The Undertaker right in the face.

The Undertaker himself could not believe that he had just gotten slapped and then he gave Shawn Michaels one more tombstone. When The Undertaker gave Shawn Michaels that tombstone I just knew that it was over, I still had a bit of hope that Shawn Michaels was going to kick out but I just had that feeling that it was over.

I do personally think that this match lived up to the reputation of "Rematch Of The Century"

This was an incredible match, and a match that anyone could just watch over and over. It was back and forth and it was just two legends proving themselves to be the best in the business.

To me, no matter what way this match went, I knew that people were in for a classic. And I believe that we got a classic.

We seen a streak live on while we seen a career end. And I know some people may not be happy that Shawn Michaels has retired (I am personally one of these people) but you have to admit, he put so much effort into that last match.

It is a match that I am proud to say I seen live on TV, and I feel that myself, along with others got their moneys worth.
