IPL: Jayawardene Rules As Kings Make It a Double
King's XI Punjab cooked up there second win of the 2010 IPL in impressive fashion against Kolkata Knight Riders.
KKR batted first and got off to an impressive start with Chris Gayle and Sorav Ganguly putting the King's bowling under the cosh.
Ganguly went for a very well made 36 caught and bowled off Ravi Bopara.

Bopara then went for 33 off a single over Gayle smashed four sixes in that over and along with some generous wides the total mounted up.
Gayle eventually departed for a spectacular 88 when he was caught by Bopara off the bowling of Theron.
Wickets were few and far between the only other wicket to fall was that of Tiwary for 35, Tiwary batted well giving the strike to Gayle and supporting him.
KKR's innings finished on 200-3 off there 20 overs.
The King's went off like a house on fire. They kept up and around the rate all through the innings.
Murali Kartik took the first wicket, that of Bisla for 18 with the score at 51.
The Sri Lankan was joined by his captain Kumar Sangakarra who himself impressed with a swift 38 off 22 balls. He was eventually out caught by David Hussey off the bowling of Shane Bond.
Yuvraj Singh joined Jayawardene at the crease, and both batted until the end.
Yuvraj ended up on 33 off just 16 balls he plundered three huge sixes and two fours.
Man of the Match Jayawardene finished 110 not out, he hit 14 boundary fours and three sixes.
This was a turning point for King's XI as they have been very satisfactory this season in the IPL let's hope they continue from here and push for a semi-final slot.
