Are You Ready For Fantasy Baseball 2010???
Well it is that time again, most drafts are done, spring training is drawing to an end, and line-ups are set.
My fantasy draft was last Saturday. For me, this day gives me the same feeling as Christmas morning did when I was a kid.
Our league is a 5x5 Roto, keeper league. We expanded from all AL & NL East to All MLB teams this year and added 2 owners to raise the number to 16.

10 Scorching MLB Takes 🌶️

Yankees Call Up 6'7" Prospect 📈
As planned, nothing went as planned. Players like Pujols, Braun, Kemp and Fielder went for over $40. I wanted Kemp, but wasnt willing to shell out more than $36 for him. After all there is a lot of OF dept in the MLB.
I feel pretty good about my line-up. So here they are... "The Sloppy Tampon Reds"
C: Victor Martinez: V-Mart is at the heart of a ferocious BoSox lineup
Nick Hundley: Ehhh V-Mart will pick up this guys slack
1B: Joey Votto: By years end Votto will solidify his spot as a top 5 fantasy first basemen
2B: Brandon Phillips: Phillips was my man-crush this year, I will be looking for a 25-25 season from him this year hitting cleanup for the possibly potent Reds.
SS: Erick Aybar: Now that Chone Figgins is in the northwest, Aybar should leadoff all year and score a buttload of runs, not to mention steal a career high number of bags
3B: Kevin Kouzmanoff: Compare his numbers to Jhonny Peralta who has been taken about 100 spots earlier and you wont see much difference
MI: Orlando Cabrera: This guy is one of those guys that always hits for average, and in Cincy he could be in position to score more runs than ever. Not to mention he could have the freedom to swipe a few more bags this year with Dusty Baker pushing the buttons.
CI: Juan Uribe: With Sanchez out for who knows how long Uribe could be an unlikely source for 15 Homers and decent RBI totals.
OF: Julio Borbon: kept him for $11, leading off for the slugging Rangers and 50+ steal speed, this guy will be a Roto beast this year with a full season of ABs
Jay Bruce: yeah...another Red. This guy can straight up MASH. Im looking for a better BA from Bruce this year and potentially 35 HRs
Conor Jackson: Suprisingly hitting leadoff for the D-Backs, Conor Jackson should bounce back from last years injury plagued season and have a 15-15 year with 80+ Runs
Colby Rasmus: This kids gonna explode this year.
B.J Upton: After a down year in 2009 Joe Maddon mover him out of the leadoff spot. I predict the elder Upton will bounce back to hit 20 plus bombs and steal 40 plus bases again.
U/DH: Austin Jackson: I took a flier on this kid because I am hoping he will get his feet wet with a decent year leading off for the Tigers. His numbers could look like this: (.279 BA/14 HR/56 RBI/97 R/34 SB)
SP: Bounceback alert: Carlos Zambrano: He will come back into form and win 15+ games and have decent K's and ERA/WHIP
Rick Porcello: Great young pitcher with good K's and should win 15 games behind Verlander in Detroit.
Javier Vasquez: Cy Young caliber year with Atlanta last year. I dont expect that after moving to the AL. But he should win a ton of games for the Pinstripers, and oh yeah he racks up the K's.
Randy Wolf: I got Wolf for a lousy dollar. That is value. I'll take 14 wins and 150 Ks for $1 all day from this consumate pro.
Anibal Sanchez and Jamie Garcia round out my starters.
RP: Brian Wilson: the guy is very under the radar since he is in San Fran, but his is top tier and he rocks the mohawk.
David Aardsma: Kept for $11. Love "Double A" He came out of nowhere last year and got 38 saves for the Mariners. They should win more games this year and he should get 40 saves if he stays healthy.
BENCH: John Bowker SF, Chris Dickerson CIN, Jonny Gomes CIN, Mike Jacobs NYM, Mike Wuertz OAK
DL: Edinson Volquez CIN
