MANCHESTER, ENGLAND - SEPTEMBER 12: Manuel Almunia of Arsenal concedes an own goal as he heads the ball into his own net after it rebounded off the post and hit him during the Barclays Premier League match between Manchester City and Arsenal at the City of Manchester Stadium on September 12, 2009 in Manchester, England. It has become painfully clear that no matter how well Arsenal play, poor goalkeeping will deny them success. The lack of a world-class shot stopper, hell, a decent shot stopper, has cost Arsenal precious points in the title race.

And this recent Birmingham game is the straw that broke the camel's back.

I've been speaking with other Arsenal supporters recently, and the consensus about the Spaniard is that he's useless. Simply put, we can't figure out how he came to be a premiership keeper. We have no faith in his ability to protect our goal.

Honestly, every other top club in Europe has a reliable, world class, intelligent keeper. EXCEPT FOR ARSENAL! Chelsea have Petr Cech, Man United rely on Van Der Sar, Real Madrid utilize Iker Casillas, and so on and so on. Yet Wenger continues to entrust one of the most IMPORTANT positions on the pitch to an absolute buffoon.

I'm just sick and tired of giving away cheap, shitty goals and having the these moronic pundits describe the idiotic Almunia's actions as a comedy of errors. I'm not losing faith in the Arsenal, but if it comes down to the wire (which it will) and the title is won by a single point, then we must look back at the Birmingham game as the reason for the disappointment and at Almunia for the loss.

I'm just spewing hatred towards the man because there's not a quality goalkeeping bone in his body. I don't know what Arsene will do, but something must be done. Whether or not he does something this term or wait until the summer is unknown, but even Wenger must see that Manuel Almunia is not fit to wear the Arsenal colors and that he must be shipped out.

I'm mad at the loss of points and the fact that no matter how much effort the boys put in, that awful keeper will make it count for nothing.

He must go, he must go, he must go, he must GO! So leave comments spew your hatred....vent...Because this man will be the downfall of Arsenal's title charge this season. I had to write something to get it off my chest. And all joking aside, if I could hire someone to end Almunia's season I would do it in a heartbeat. So goodbye Almunia, you will not be missed.
