Hey guys, I'm back.
Sorry I didn't write an article for a long time, I was just busy with college and everything.
Anyways, we are only six days away from the grandest stage of them all, Wrestlemania!
With star-studded matches like John Cena-Batista, Bret Hart-Mr. McMahon, and Undertaker-Shawn Michaels, this year's Wrestlemania has the potential to be one of the greatest Wrestlemanias ever, if not the greatest.
But, will it live up to expectations?
Without any further due, let's get started on my predictions.
Unified Tag Team Championship Match: ShoMiz vs. Truth and Morrison
Obviously, this match was only made to further ShoMiz's tag title reign.
Honestly, there's no reason WWE would decide to make John Morrison and R-Truth the new champions; they both have to focus on their singles careers.
I'm going for ShoMiz to beat Truth and Morrison after The Miz pins R-Truth.
Also, expect a John Morrison heel turn after he attacks R-Truth.
Winners: Still Unified Tag Team Champions, ShoMiz
The Money in the Bank Ladder Match
Only two possible winners here: Matt Hardy or Christian.
In my view, all of the others aren't suitable candidates or haven't been with the company long enough.
Anyways, if Matt Hardy wins, he will probably cash in in a clean way like RVD did. Unfortunately, I see him being the first ever Money in the Bank winner to lose.
If Christian wins, he will finally win his first world championship after cashing in on Edge, but as a heel.
I'm just going to go with the more likely winner here.
Triple Threat Match: Ted DiBiase vs. Randy Orton vs. Cody Rhodes
This is one of the two matches that were booked to make new stars.
Which is why I'm going the extra mile by saying Randy Orton will not win at Wrestlemania.
I'm looking for Cody Rhodes to turn on Ted DiBiase after hitting his finisher, cross rhodes, and getting the 3 count on Dibiase.
Winner: Cody Rhodes
No Holds Barred Match: Bret Hart vs. Vince McMahon
Obviously Bret Hart can only wrestle a short period due to health problems, and Vince McMahon can't really wrestle.
So, I expect this match to be filled with controversy.
At the end, the match will finish how all wrestling fans want it to:
Vince McMahon tapping to Bret Hart's sharpshooter.
Winner: Bret "The Hitman" Hart
Triple H vs. Sheamus
This is another match that was only made to make a new star.
Sheamus needs to beat Triple H in order for him to be a successful main eventer.
Yet, WWE can't make their star player look weak at the grandest stage of them all.
Expect Triple H to beat Sheamus, with Sheamus getting his revenge at Extreme Rules.
Winner: Triple H
Rey Mysterio vs. CM Punk
Really remarkable feud going for these two.
Before, this was the match that I thought would steal the show.
Now, I'm starting to think Undertaker and HBK will do it again, but I still think this is going to be one hell of a match.
Although a win for Punk against Rey could do him wonders, I don't see Rey Mysterio joining the straight-edge society anytime soon.
Winner: Rey Mysterio
World Heavyweight Championship: Edge vs. Chris Jericho
What many think will steal the show.
Although I don't agree, this match should be quite awesome.
The outcome of the match is unpredictable.
When was the last time Edge even won or retained a world title at Wrestlemania?
Then again, Smackdown is in desperate need of a top heel, and a huge win here could do it for Jericho.
Winner: Still World Heavyweight Champion, Chris Jericho
WWE Championship: Batista vs. John Cena
Honestly, this feud has been done very well.
Batista feels that he beat John Cena at Summerslam yet Cena's being hyped as the face of the company.
Seeing that Cena has never beaten Batista in the past, I expect John Cena to be standing tall with the WWE championship in his hand at Wrestlemania.
Winner: New WWE Champion, John Cena
Streak vs Career: Undertaker vs. Shawn Michaels Part II
Does it get any bigger than this?
Both of these future Hall of Famers battle once again, only this time with HBK's decorated career on the line.
I know that this match will steal the show; expect chokeslams, superkicks, and tombstones all over the place.
I hope there's no controversy involved in this match's ending but with the "only pinfall or submission" rule, it seems WWE wants to go in that direction.
Anyways, if there is controversy I predict Triple H will interfere in the match and help either HBK or Undertaker out.
If there isn't controversy involved then I've got two numbers for ya, 17-1.
Winner: Shawn Michaels
