CFB Previous Series: Week Five (links to previous weeks inside).

Top 10 entering Week Six:

1. Georgia 5-0

2. Southern Cal 3-0

3. Florida 4-0

4. Oklahoma 4-0

5. Ohio State 4-1

6. Missouri 4-0

7. Clemson 5-0

8. Texas 4-0

9. Kansas 4-0

10. West Virginia 4-0

Key Games in Week Six:

Missouri at Nebraska

The undefeated Tigers travel to Lincoln to take on the resurgent Cornhuskers under Bo Pelini.  Pelini will be looking for the first Big 12 conference win of his career, while Mizzou will be looking to keep their title hopes alive.

The Tigers should come in fresh and ready to go with a bye week the week before this game.  That's bad news for the Cornhuskers trying to defend that spread attack led by Chase Daniel and company.

The Cornhuskers, on the other hand, will be coming off a hard-fought home game against the visiting Hokies from Virginia Tech and will be in for another battle against Missouri.

While the game is in Lincoln and the home crowd should help the men in red, the fact that Missouri had a week off while Nebraska just played a tough team in Virginia Tech makes me think Missouri will be at a big advantage.

Winner: Missouri

Ohio State at Wisconsin

The Buckeyes come in with only one loss on their record, and that one was in Los Angeles to the Trojans.  This game between the Badgers and Buckeyes could decide the Big Ten championship.

Ohio State will come in ready to go after getting a scare from the Badgers last year in Columbus.  This game could ultimately decide the winner of the Big Ten, and Jim Tressel will have his guys ready to go.

The Badgers, on the other hand, will be coming off a tough game at Michigan the week before and will be ready to get back home.  This looks to be a game where P.J. Hill will have to be a workhorse for the Badgers to win.

While Ohio State is the more talented team, the home crowd and the fact that Wisconsin came so close last year should motivate them.  But I'd expect the Buckeyes to just be too much here.

Winner: Ohio State

Oregon at Southern Cal

This always seems to be a great Pac-10 game, and this year shouldn't be any different.  The Trojans host the Ducks in a huge conference game that should live up to the hype.

Oregon will come in with a new quarterback that will face all kinds of pressure from the Trojan defense.  He will have a good backfield to fall back on in Jeremiah Johnson and LeGarrette Blount, and they will have to play well.

The Trojans, on the other hand, will be coming in looking to get off to a good start in their defense of the Pac-10 title.  I'd expect Mark Sanchez to have a big game as the Ducks will have a tough time defending USC's weapons.

While Oregon will come in firing, the Trojan defense is way too good to give up too many points here.  I'd expect Sanchez, Turner, and McKnight to get things going and win their first big conference test of the season.

Winner: Southern Cal

Other key games: Florida State at Miami, Pittsburgh at South Florida, Rutgers at West Virginia
