The Rams signed an Eagles' Quarterback on Friday thus putting to rest those rumors concerning the Rams wanting an Eagles' Quarterback.  The only problelm would be that A.J. Feeley last played for the Eagles, in 2007.

The signing of Feeley does leave you to woinder in which direction this team heads, and I know people say in a downard spiral.

I have been at several Rams boards, and I can tell you that mood would not be one of great joy.  Well, I can't blame the feelings because this signing dose leave more questions than answer.

Before and during the Combine, the rumors said that the Rams would draft Bradford.  This would seem to logically suggest that you want to have a veteran quarterback to play ahead of Bradford until he can takeover.  So if you follow this line of a reason, they would either keep Bulger for one more year or for example, make a deal for McNabb.  This signing just makes you wonder of a couple of other possibilties.

One, possible explaination could be that may stick with Bulger with Feeley as his backup.  In the draft, they go after Suh and either blow off drafting a Quarterback or drafting Colt McCoy in the second.

The other possibillity could be they may use their first pick on a Quarterback and just have Feeley teach him the system.  Remeber Feeley does know Shumur's system, but the only drawback would be that he has not been around this system for almost three years.

In either case, you have to make some kind of decision on Bulger.

Before any comits suicide over this signing, you have to remember a lot can between now and the draft. Also, just because they signed Feeley does not necessarly mean that he will be with the team in September.  They may have just signed him as a stop gap for now with the hope that something opens up in the future.
