The Detroit Pistons where one of the most dominant franchises in the NBA. Now they are just as bad as teams like Golden State & New York. I have 5 ideas that can turn this franchise around.

5 Keep John Kuester.I Know some of you were expecting the opposite but I think firing a coach in his first year with a new team is wrong. Now last year I wanted Michael Curry fired. The reason is because not only was he losing he was losing with Flip Saunders team with a different point guard & the addition of Kwame Brown. His players had no respect for him whatsoever and he betrayed the trust of two of his star players Rip Hamilton & Allen Iverson. But John Kuester is in his first year with a brand new team not Flip Saunders team. I say give him a couple of years and he can help lift up this franchise back to where they were a couple of years ago.

4 Trade Prince. Look I am a Tayshaun Prince fan. But I am also a Detroit Pistons fan and I want Detroit to get another championship. I think trading Prince will help considering the fact that he is banged up from playing so many games. Now it's not because of the back injury but the fact that every time I watch a game he seems show that he is hurting in some kind of way and for a guy that has played so many consecutive games like Prince has it takes a toll on you. Prince has some value I say trade him probably for a future first or second round pick. The Pistons have young guys like Daye,Summers, & Jerebko who would benefit from Prince being traded. Daye has showed some signs of super stardom when he has played and maybe some extra minutes would help him grow into the player Detroit expects him to be or more. Summers was a rising star in the summer league but the fact that had some 3 other players at the small forward position but if prince is traded he will get more minutes and he can show what he can do. Jerebko has been a starter now if prince is traded he will still be in the starting lineup. He would get the ball more and his stats would improve but that's all.

3 Get rid of Villanueva. Last off season I was happy about the additions of Ben Gordon & Charlie Villanueva. Now I just wish we didn't really waste money on Villanueva because he has been inconsistent. He hasn't rebounded the ball well and he takes way too many 3 pointers. I think maybe trading him for some value will help this team. Because he has been way too inconsistent to be on the team when the next season begins.

2. Draft Derrick Favors. Some have ripped Stuckey because they compare him with Chauncey Billups so much. But if look at Chauncey in his third year and you look at Stuckey in his third year he has been impressive. I think just going and drafting a point guard is wrong considering you are trying to develop one. Ben Wallace has been great when it comes to the defensive side of the ball but you can't say the same on the offensive side and Ben Wallace is getting up there in age so I say draft a young center who can play defense and score the ball. Derrick Favors is like a shorter Dwight Howard with a better jump shot. He is excellent shot blocker and an excellent scorer in the paint. I think a player like Derrick Favors can help turn this franchise a round fast.

1 Don't move the team. I am a Detroit Pistons fan! notice I didn't say Pittsburgh. It is wrong to move the Pistons when you don't have trouble selling tickets and if I am correct the Palace has the largest capacity in the NBA. I do not live in Pittsburgh or Detroit I just think it is wrong when you don't have any problem selling tickets and the fans have been great to the players and the organization.
