Wrestlemania 26: How It Looks So Far

Brittany AnsteadContributor IMarch 5, 2010

Hello Bleacher Report readers. I haven't written anything in a while because school has had me tied up so I couldn't write anything new. I am writing this article to talk about my feelings about how Wrestlemania 26 is shaping up.

As most of you already know, there are several matches on the Wrestlemania card already. The matches are as follows:

  • Batista vs. John Cena (WWE Championship)
  • Edge vs. Chris Jericho (World Heavyweight Championship)
  • Bret Hart vs. Vince McMahon
  • Shawn Michaels vs. Undertaker (Career vs. Streak)
  • Money In The Bank
  • John Morrison & R-Truth vs. ShoMiz (Unified Tag Team Championships)
  • Triple H vs. Sheamus

These are not all of the matches, but I will upgrade the article as I find out more. Now, many people may already know that after watching this past RAW, there is a possibility for a Legacy-Orton match and Triple H-Sheamus match. On Smackdown tonight, another Money In The Bank qualifying match will happen and there is a possibility other matches might happen that will set up Wrestlemania matches.

Now for some of the problems. Batista-Cena would have been a good match without having to throw a title into it. Here's another problematic match: HBK versus Undertaker. Many people would be quick to say that part two will be better than last year, but I beg to differ.

Both of these men are a year older and I have my doubts that match will be better this year. Also, no matter how you look at it, this is a lose-lose match. If Taker loses, then the streak is dead. If HBK loses, then he is gone.

So far, the only matches that actually sound decent enough to make me want to get this pay-per-view are Edge-Jericho and the MITB match.

As I mentioned earlier, these are not all of the matches. After I find out more, I will add on to the article. Thank you for reading and good day.
