Speared, speared, speared, that's what Chris Jericho feels whenever he and Edge see each other in or out of the ring.
They may not even be in a match together, and Edge will come out, no matter where or when; they talk their talk and just like clockwork, Edge will spear him.
You know the saying "don't ever say never?" Well, Jericho said that Edge would never spear him again. That was a laugh, because he no sooner had he gotten it out of his mouth and Edge, well, you know the rest.
The look on Chris' face was priceless, a Kodak moment. He was shocked. And to make things even worse for Chris, Edge said the words that Jericho didn't want to hear: Edge was fighting him at WM 26. Another shocked look. Really priceless.
You would think by now, Jericho would've learned to keep his arrogant mouth closed, but that's Jericho. And like it or not, he is the world heavyweight champion.
At WM 26, it is going to be an all-out brawl. No ifs, ands, or buts, no punches pulled, no turning back. This is do or die, kind of.
As all of the WWE Universe knows, Edge and Jericho were partners, hombres, one of the best tag teams and unified tag team champions ever to come down the pike.
That was until Edge injured his Achilles tendon and had surgery to repair it. Therefore, it left Jericho without a partner. He did however get another one, and didn't hesitate about it. It was the Big Show.
This, of course, didn't settle very well with the Canadian Rated R Superstar. What could he do? He was laid up with an injury and couldn't wrestle.
Of course, Mr. "I am better than you" parasite didn't do anything to help his ex-partner but instead he belittled him. Big Show joined in as well.
A lot of time passed since Edge's injury, and he came back at RR and won it. Now he is out for blood. He has everything to gain and Jericho has everything to lose.
Both are in incredible condition and they are sharply focused on WM 26. Only one man can win, and in my opinion, I think it will be Edge. He's hungry not just for the revenge and retribution, but that title means everything to him.
Jericho, as we know, may be a pompous jackass, but, he has been in the business for many years. He has seen many wrestlers come and go. He is ring savvy and an opportunist, and he's the best at what he does (I still haven't figured out what it is).
As WM 26 rapidly approaches, one has to wonder what Edge is thinking about, what his mindset is like. We know they both are thinking about the belt, but there's more to it than that.
They are probably wondering what the other has on his mind and if there will be any injuries stemming from up and coming matches.
Maybe if they will be in top condition, or maybe it will be on how they can maim the other so the other won't be 100 percent at WM.
That is a lot to think about, gentlemen. I wish you the best of luck. And Jericho, happy spearing!
