Spoiler Alert: Major Star to Make Debut On Impact This Monday

Hulk Hogan all but confirmed on Jim Kerr's "Rock 'n Roll" Morning Show this morning in New York City that Rob Van Dam has signed a contract with TNA Wrestling.

During the interview, Hulk Hogan was talking about some surprises that would happen on Impact! this Monday night.  He mentioned that Jimmy Hart, who was also in attendance at the interview, didn't even know about the signing.

Hogan never mentioned Van Dam by name, but studio cameras caught Hogan doing RVD's "pointing to yourself" gesture while talking about an exciting new talent acquisition that he just heard about last night.

Later on, Spike TV the news of RVD signing with TNA on Twitter, writing: RT @TNA_FANS: HULK HOGAN confirms "Mr. Monday Night" RVD has signed with TNA Wrestling!

This is a huge move by TNA and could definitely entice viewers to change the channel.  Rob Van Dam is one of the most beloved wrestlers in wrestling history and he has had a really long hiatus from main-stream wrestling.

Whether or not TNA uses RVD to his full potential is yet to be seen.  In my opinion, this is a huge step in the right direction for TNA.

Mr. Monday Night appears to be back!

What do YOU think about returning to wrestling with TNA on Monday Nights?  Feel free to discuss!
