The best days of the Milwaukee Bucks franchise was really back when they had Guys like Oscar Robertson & Kareem Abdul-Jabar. Since then the years for Milwaukee have not been too kind. Right now they are sitting at 6th in the east which is real good considering the fact that Michael Redd who has been there best scorer has not played these last couple of games and the fact that there rookie Brandon Jennings who earlier this season scored 55 points has really struggled. Since they have traded for veteran John Salmons and signed Jerry Stackhouse they are 7-1. Now I know an older Jerry Stackhouse doesn't sound like much but the last 5 games he has has contributed really well to this young team. Then you look at the play of Andrew Bogut who was the #1 overall pick in the 05 draft. He has really played well in the last 8 games and is probably a strong candidate for Most Improved Player award.

So with the pieces they have could they be the team of the of the future? They have a very talented Point guard in Brandon Jennings, A dominant Rebounder and post up player in Andrew Bogut. So they have pieces to build around and they are well coached. Then you think about the other teams like Boston who are getting older and Toronto  who look like they could lose there superstar Chris Bosh to free agency in 2010 that sure opens the door to a team like Milwaukee.

So is Milwaukee the team of the future? They will be a good team but when you look at the young teams you got to think about Atlanta ,Oklahoma City, & Memphis is even in the rise. Milwaukee has pieces but they might not be as good as the teams I just mentioned but they will definitely be one of the top teams in the future.
