Undertaker: Shawn Michaels Legacy Will Finally Rest In Peace For Good

James TurnerCorrespondent IFebruary 27, 2010

"There has been a lot of speculation about what's transpired over the last week. Well...eventually I knew it would come down to this."

At the graveyard inside of the tool shed

"I also sense a lot of uneasy nerves around the WWE Universe. A sense that something drastic is about to happen very soon.

March 28.......marks the beginning of the end. Something has to give and it WON'T be a pretty scene for anyone to witness.

A legacy comes to an end. I will go into this year's Wrestlemania with a more determination for dominance more than any other time in my whole entire career.

I will be facing Shawn Michaels in a rematch of last year's Wrestlemania, which was arguably the greatest match ever.

This year though, there is far more on the line than just a victory. Both Shawn and myself have so much more on the line than just something valuable to us coming to an end. Our legacies are at stake in this match."

Comes out of the toolshed with a shovel in his hand

"Whoever wins this match will never be the same again. Whoever loses this match will never be the same again. Whatever happens in this match, the WWE Universe will never be the same again. Once this night is done and over with, professional wrestling as we speak will NEVER be the same again.

Shawn Michaels has agreed to put his career on the line versus the streak. Shawn just single-handedly made the biggest mistake in his whole illustrious career.

Starts digging a hole in the cemetary.

Does Shawn really think he will beat the deadman at the grandest stage of all? Does he really believe he's going to end the streak? Obviously, he does because he accepted the stipulation.

I must admit......Shawn Michaels is single-handedly the greatest specimen to ever grace the WWE. That's not a knock to what I have accomplished. Just what this man has done during his career is unlike any other wrestler ever.

Shawn likes to call himself "Mr. Wrestlemania." He believes he truly outshines everyone on the grandest stage of all.

He can make that claim that he's the main event at Wrestlemania. With only two wins on his record with nine losses, it would be kind of hard for the average fan to call Shawn "Mr. Wrestlemania."

Despite his Mania record, Shawn is "Mr. Wrestlemania." He may have lost majority of his Mania matches but he has also brought out the very best an opponent can dish out. Shawn won't beat himself, you have to take him out and make sure he's no longer breathing before you defeat him.

Kurt Angle, Triple H, Chris Benoit, Bret Hart, Stone Cold, John Cena, Diesel, it took every bit of strength to battle it out with Shawn Michaels at Wrestlemania. Add me to that list that had to take him on.

Never is there a competitor that is so hard to pin. Anyone who has kicked out of my tombstone deserves all the respect in the world. That's why I consider him "Mr. Mania."

Only difference between Shawn and myself at Mania besides my undefeated streak is simple. Shawn Michaels is "Mr. Wrestlemania." BUT I AM WRESTLEMANIA!!!!

That's what Shawn is trying to capture that I hold rightfully in my possession. He wants to be known as "WRESTLEMANIA" himself. Damn, this man has such a huge ego.

I will not allow you Shawn to come out on top"

Hole is finally dug out six feet deep.

"Many say that it's hard to beat a person a second time around. Those who say that are right. This match will be the hardest task I will probably ever fight. Beating Shawn once was hard enough. Beating him a second will be close to unthinkable.

But there is something else on the line that has juiced me up more than ever in my entire career. Shawn is trying to make history as being the first to end the streak so he can be consider the greatest of all-time. I want to be the man that ends the career of the greatest of all-time.

Winning at Mania is more than just ending HBK's career. This is finally showing that you don't EVER doubt the wrath of the deadman. I have laid careers to rest before. Shawn must now feel my wrath."

Jumps inside of the six-foot dugged out hole

"The streak was never something I really had in mine during my first decade in this business. It wasn't until till Wrestlemania 18, when I defeated the Nature Boy Ric Flair that the streak officially took toll on my career.

Still till this day, I consider my streak as "the" streak. As much as I love to sulk in the fact that I never been defeated at Wrestlemania, it's still just another accolade to add to my hall of fame resume.

I would love nothing more than to end my career undefeated at Mania. That would be a huge sendoff to my career. With the exception of Brett Favre, all streaks are meant to be broken.

This is not me doubting my abilities to beat Shawn Michaels at this year's Wrestlemania. This is just a realization that this streak is in jeopardy and will always take a huge toll on my status and career until someone finally breaks it.

I've heard so many people talking about the different superstars that can end my streak to better their careers. YEAH THAT'S FUNNY!

Lays a casket inside of the six-foot hole.

No superstar in this business is deserving to end this streak. Majority of the superstars don't even deserve to take a crack at this streak. No matter how much it may help elevate that superstar, I'm not going to lie down to any wrestler. And there are a very few in the locker room who are capable of ending the streak.

If my streak is going to come to an end, it needs to end in the right hands. Ric Flair made sure if he was force to retire, he was going to retire to the right person at the right point of his career. He chose Shawn Michaels. Flair knew Shawn would deliver the way he wanted to go out.

Batista, John Cena, Triple H, Randy Orton, Edge, even CM Punk. These are the only superstars who I believe are capable of ending the streak and I would even allow to compete with me. That's because I know they have a shot.

And if everyone really want to talk, Kane is more deserving of a shot to end the streak more than anyone. Other than Shawn Michaels.

Pours lighter fluid all over the casket that was set inside the hole.

I've asked myself over the last four or five years the same question. If the streak was to come to an end, I truly believe that it should end by someone who is more deserving.

Shawn Michaels has given his blood, sweat and tears for this business for over 20 years. His career in the WWE has lasted longer than mines. We are the true veterans in the WWE. He accomplished more than any wrestler has accomplished in just his first stint in the WWE.

That's before he retired for four years thanks to me. That's probably Shawn's biggest motivation to defeat me. He is single-handedly the greatest ever and I nearly single-handedly ended this man's career.

With sheer will and determination, he made his way back into the WWE and has been making even more history putting together more classic matches and moments that people still talk about till this day. He has always stepped up when it matter and was willing to break his back for this company....literally break his back.

That right there is what I respect about Shawn Michaels the most. And that's why there's no deserving wrestler in this business to get a second shot or even a shot period to take down the streak."

Lights up the casket and it sets to flames.

"There's a rude awakening to this whole ordeal. Once Wrestlemania is over, I will be the last man standing with my hand raised high above the world. Shawn Michaels career will come to an end.

You wanted me Shawn Michaels? NOW YOU HAVE ME! And I'm more determined to beat you now than I did last year. I will be the deadman that ended your career.

Enjoy your last few weeks on Raw or Smackdown. It doesn't matter because the days are ticking till the moment you step into my graveyard for your very last time."

Pulls out HBK's entrance attire from a bag.

Once Wrestlemania arrives, our match will take place. Undertaker vs. Shawn Michaels Streak vs. Career.

This match will leave tears and sorrow over the whole WWE Universe. This will be a bittersweet moment for all who witnesses it. I can't even imagine the emotions that will go down on this night. But I must face the reality. I will defeat Shawn Michaels.

As I stand on top as the victor and your career comes to a close, I finally will own your soul and it will finally become mines. The soul of the greatest specimen in professional wrestling is currently in my hands. Now it's in flames."

Throws HBK's attire and soul into the burning casket

"There will be no more Shawn Michaels in the WWE. I am the only icon left in the WWE. And if anyone else thinks they can take on the streak then bring it on. I will end your career too.

As for you Shawn Michaels, your career has finally came to an end. Now your soul can finally....REST...IN...PEACE!
