<i>Road to Dallas: Pacquiao vs. Clottey</i> Set to Debut on HBO
According to a press release from HBO Sports, HBO will be presenting Road to Dallas: Pacquiao vs Clottey, a thirty-minute special analyzing the upcoming welterweight championship bout between pound-for-pound king Manny Pacquiao and challenger Joshua Clottey that will mark the first-ever pro boxing event at the landmark $1.2 billion Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, Texas.
The historical fight will take place on Saturday, March 13 and be televised on HBO Pay-Per-View®.
The Road to Dallas: Pacquiao vs. Clottey program will include both fighters profiles, expert analysis, and predictions. It will premiere on HBO on Saturday, March 6, right after Boxing After Dark.
Manny Pacquiao (50-3-2, 38 KOs)will be making his first fight appearance in 2010 after completing a sensational 2009 fight year when he scored impressive KO wins over Ricky Hatton and Miguel Cotto in Las Vegas.
Considered the sport’s pound-for-pound king, Pacquiao is boxing’s first seven division champ.
A native of Ghana, Clottey (35-3, 21 KOs) is a formidable opponent who is determined to spring the first huge upset of 2010.
The special will also be available to HBO On Demand® subscribers 24 hours a day, beginning Wednesday, March 10 through Monday, April 12.
