My perfect team would consist of a young core that can "Run N' Gun" with the ability to set up a half-court game lead by veteran leadership.
- good chemistry (everyone knows their roles and no egos)
- 1-2 STAR players
- versatility (players have the ability to play multiple positions causing mismatches)
- deep solid bench
Point Guard - floor general, athletic, excels in the open court, ability to knock down the open shot.
Shooting Guard - STAR, all around scorer, clutch-factor is a plus.
Small Forward - athletic, defensive-minded hustle player with decent size, 3-point ability, point-forward and versatility a plus.
Power Forward - low post scorer, rebounder, tough interior defense, shot blocking a plus.
Center - shot blocker, rebounding defensive-minded big, preferably athletic and runs the floor well, solid shooter a plus.
Sixth-Man - instant offense
7 - defensive stopper/slasher/hustle player
8 - shooter
9 - back-up facilitator/veteran/mentor
10 - shot blocker
