Breaking Report: 4 Top WWE Names Leaving After WrestleMania 26?

Victor JordanCorrespondent IFebruary 18, 2010

There are big rumors circulating that 4 Major WWE Names are leaving the company after WrestleMania 26,and may either retire or just let their contracts expire.

The Undertaker

It has been speculated for some time now that "The Deadman"would finally be hanging it up after this year's WrestleMania, and with WWE wanting to do Shawn Michaels Vs The Undertaker again,it seems like this is the way Taker wants to walk out of the WWE.

He's suffered from many injuries these last couple of years, and it seems to have all weighed him down,as since 2008 he was taking a more noticeable amount of time off from the ring. It wouldn't be too hard to see "The Demon Of Death Valley" leave the WWE this year,as many have been expecting him to call it quits for some time now.

Rey Mysterio

After injury and injury Rey Mysterio is finally considering retiring from the WWE. Mysterio never took retirement into serious consideration, though after the last few months he decided on actually thinking about it. Mysterio is in fact one of the most injury prone Stars in the WWE,so seeing him leave after the Biggest PPV of The Year wouldn't be too much of a shock. It also shouldn't be much shock if talk of Mysterio considering to sign with TNA begins shortly after the big show,as he could benefit from the light schedule, and not suffer so many injuries, due to TNA not working as stiff as the WWE with in ring work. To add on to the Mysterio/TNA possibilities mid 2009 Mysterio and the WWE had major problems.

He was extremely upset with the way Family Friend Vickie Guerrero was being treated in the WWE both backstage as well as storyline wise, and was very angry at Vince McMahon & the WWE Writers over the Vickie/Fat Jokes angle. Mysterio also had money issues with the WWE as he felt he wasn't getting paid as much as the other Top Names was getting. Though it seems those issues have been resolved.

Dave Batista

Batista originally planned on retiring sometime last year, but due to injury he was forced to add a few months extension to his contract due to the injury taking away ring time. Batista once again wanted to retire in 2009,and all seemed well for his plans which is one reason why the WWE gave Batista a WWE Championship title run as a reward for his time spent with the WWE,but once again injury hurt his chances of retirement. With WrestleMania just a mere 4 weeks away, and John Cena being his planned opponent for the big show it wouldn't be hard to see Batista retire this way.

Shawn Michaels

With Shawn Michaels being in the same boat as The Undertaker when it comes to sporadically taking time off,and getting injured Michaels has done major consideration of Retirement. Michaels knees still continue to bother him apparently, and he's been complaining about the pain for quite some time now. Again with Shawn Michaels Vs The Undertaker II on the WrestleMania 26 drawing boards don't be shocked if another Goldberg/Brock Lesnar fiasco happens where both men hang up their wrestling boots.

Note:The following was reported by various news sites, and not myself.

UPDATE:Atleast one or more names have been rumored to be considering leaving the WWE after WrestleMania 26 though nothing has been confirmed,or reported at this time.
