GSP lives on taking guys down and making them look bad, he also has a propencity to let matches linger a little longer than they need to be.

Dan Hardy will be a sharp contrast from what Rush has been tenderizing for the last couple of years in the UFC.

Hardy has heavy hands , a tough chin , and is hard to keep down, these are the things that GSP struggles with. His last few fights while have been dominating, have lasted longer than his talent should have allowed. I don't like my gut feeling about letting Hardy hang around.

Georges likes it down and dirty , but he will let his hands fly, I just don't think that he is going to give the taller Hardy any more powerful shots than he has had before.

Matt Serra, I bring this name up for the fact that as well as he is known for his ju jitsu, he has a mean punch and can place them well, good enough to floor the revered Canadien. While Hardy might be a tad slower than Serra, his hands are heavier, it's like comparing a softball pitch, ask any catcher, a man can throw a 90 mile per hour rise ball and you can hear the snap, a guy can also throw a 60 mile per hour drop ball and make it feel like catching a brick, heavy hands.

If Dan Hardy can keep this fight standing and utilize his legs to keep Georges away long enough to  start to land just a few punches by committee, then I like him for the upset.

This fight will test Dan Hardy's heart no doubt about it, can he go five, I think he can, will he spend the majority of this fight on his back, the first two minutes will tell me , as GSP does not waste time, he very workman like and does not dance around for three minutes feeling out his adversary.

Hardy however is stonger than he looks, and if he can keep Georges from his swarming style of wrestling I believe that he can get back to his feet where even a short jab could send the Canadien to the floor, that is all it takes in this game.

Dan Hardy is not scared of anyone, he may respect ,but he is not scared and I do not believe we have seen his full arsenal, there is a nice clinch game hidden in there somewhere, and I would like to see him at least try to utilize it.

All in all I think that Hardy will shock the world! Not me, just the rest of the MMA faithful.
