Don Imus and Adam "The Player Formerly Known As Pacman" Jones
Don Imus didn’t *seriously* inject race into his radio show again, right?
Wait, before we go there - can we clear something else up?
You’re telling someone actually HIRED Don Imus again after his debacle with calling the Rutgers womens’ basketball team “nappy-headed ho’s”?

Jaguars' Hypothetical Alvin Kamara Trade Offer
Someone is yanking on the cord for my Levolor Blinds, right?
And now I notice that it’s being reported that Imus made another racially-charged comment during his show. During an on-air conversation Monday about the arrests of suspended Dallas Cowboys cornerback Adam “Pacman” Jones,
Imus asked, “What color is he?”
Told by sports announcer Warner Wolf that Jones is “African-American,”
Imus responded: “There you go. Now we know.”
How badly does this guy want to get fired? I realize that Pacman Jones (who wants to drop the Pacman nickname now, by the way) is a fairly easy target, but come on… At least some good will come out of this - hopefully, none of us will ever have to hear anything FROM or ABOUT Don Imus ever again. It will be difficult not to see his ruggedly handsome mug any more, but I will attempt to deal with my disappointment.
Even though Don Imus is a complete dingleberry who doesn’t deserve the courtesy of a response, Pacman Jones issued the following statement yesterday, after being told of the radio host’s racially-charged comments:
"“I’m truly upset about the comments,” Jones said. “Obviously Mr. Imus has problems with African-Americans. I’m upset, and I hope the station he works for handles it accordingly. I will pray for him.”
"
Now, I will say that it was hard for me to think of a situation in which Pacman Jones was the VICTIM, and someone I actually had sympathy for, but Imus has managed to do it.
Here’s MY question: exactly HOW BAD of a person do you have to be to have *Pacman Jones*, of all people, praying for you?! It makes the idea of Rodney King trying to be the peacemaker during the L.A. Riots of 1994 (”Can’t we all just get along?”) seem mild in comparison.
