This is a common ritual every year. We think one team will go undefeated. But then they get upset. Then no one has any idea who the Top 10 is. I am going to see if i can pick my Top 10 in 10 paragraphs.

10- Kansas State- A team i was unsure about in the past couple years. But when you look at their stats and knowing that they are in a tough Big 12 confrence there is no way i could not put them up here.

9- Duke- Duke is always in talk for the Top 10 every year. Great coach, great players, and great fan base there is no getting around it. Duke is a Top 10 team.

8- Georgetown- The Hoyas have been great. Can have a good record in a very hard Big East confrence. But the Hoyas keep fighting on so they have to be in this Top 10.

7- Villanova- What can i say? A good team, but i just can not commite to this Nova team. Don't get me wrong, a good team in a hard confrence but if i were to think about future NBA stars on that team i can only think of one.

6. Kentucky- A great team, bad coach. I do not like John Calipari. Their star is John Wall but we all know he will be heading to the NBA after this season. So i can not see Kentucky in the Top 10 next year or any of the years to come.

5- Michigan State- The Spartains are great. No getting around it. They can get recruits and win with freshman on their team. One thing that bothers me is their confrence. I don't think they get enough challenge in the Big 10. Regardless a good team.

4- West Virginia- The NCAA is trying to hold them back but their still a Top 5 team! Star player gets suspended for playing a game over in Europe? I bet it was a pick-up game with some freinds. Regardless a great team and expect them going for the title in March.

3- Syracuse- You gotta love that... Orange? Regardless of their mascot they are a great team. Even when losing John Flynn to the NBA they are able to fight and keep themselves in the Top 10.

2- Purdue- What!? Purdue as number 2?... Yes!... Like it or not Purdue is a Top 5 team. Outstanding defence and a great offence to back it up. They have the same problem as Michigan State, not enough challenge. But they are an outstanding team.

1- Kansas- The easy choice. Won the natinal championship 2 years ago and is always coming back for more. One thing that bothers me is their interactions with the football team. Look the basketball team is ranked number 1, your not ranked at all. Let them bring your school and natinal championship and stay out of their business.
