Cashed Karma: WWE RAW Rewind
After Sunday night's Night of Champions, I was at a lost for words. I was upset mainly over the ending of the night. Though Triple H and John Cena had an impressive match, it would have been nice to see someone bring some gold back to RAW.
It only took 24 hours for someone to answer my question.
Every week I usually have a RAW Rewind, but unfortunately, everyone is still talking about the events of last night's broadcast. The show opened with Shane McMahon making it clear that they will not comment on the physical status of Vince McMahon followed by the arrival of Good Ol' Jim Ross to say goodbye to his hometown crowd in Oklahoma City.

Modern-Day Dream Matches 💭

Most Likely Backlash Heel/Face Turns 🎭
As JR prepares to rap up, he is interrupted by the arrival of SmackDown!'s World Champion, Edge. Edge's two morons, Curt Hawkins and Zac Ryder escort JR to the back, and we are forced to listen to the Rated R Superstar boast about his "victory" last night. He ends his rant by saying "Unless there's a draft, you will never see me on RAW again!"
World Heavyweight Championship
CM Punk defeats Edge via Batista Layin' The SmackDown!
As Edge walked up the ramp, his exit was interrupted by the entrance of Batista. The Rated R Retard sprinted towards the ring but got his @$$ handed to him on a silver platter by the Animal. After taking down one of SmackDown!'s Champs on the outside, he rolls him inside and drops Edge with The Batista Bomb. But the story doesn't end there.
As Batista walks towards the back, CM Punk comes down with a referee and his briefcase. After months of speculation, tonight's the night that the Straight Edged Superstar would cash in his briefcase. After the bell rings, Punk nails the GTS on Edge and picks up the victory! That's right ladies and gentlemen! CM Punk has done what Batista and John Cena were unable to do: Bring a World Championship to RAW!
Following the match, everyone was still in shock over what just transpired. Edge was already staggering off to the back, and can you blame him? The Good news for the Rated R Retard is that he won't have to worry about Punk cashing in at his wedding next Friday. The bad news: His ego got the best of him as Punk was able to make everyone on RAW breathe a sigh of relief.
With everything that has happened so far on RAW, there was no one to run the show. In other words, the inmates were once again running the asylum. As Punk was preparing for his interview, Rey Mysterio was making his first official appearance on RAW. As he was congratulating CM for bringing the gold back to RAW, Santino Marella felt it was time for him to let Mysterio know that he better know his place now that he's on Monday nights.
With that, Mysterio showed the Italian how he responds to big mouths by giving us the first RAW 619 to silence the Italian mouth of Marella. As Punk thanks all the people who helped him, including Batista, an jealous spotlight obsessed JBL comes in and insults the new World Champion and then challenges him to a match for the World Title tonight.
Back on RAW, John Cena comes down to also congratulate Punk and makes it clear that JBL is the last person who should be given a shot at the World Heavyweight Championship. But before Cena and the fans make it clear who should face Punk, JBL comes out and declares Martial Law on the entire RAW roster. His first victim was Cena as JBL's personal security force threw the former WWE Champion out to ensure that JBL leaves Oklahoma City with the World Championship.
Intercontinental Championship
Kofi Kingston defeats Chris Jericho via Disqualification
Jericho was determined to make everyone suffer from his misery. He made it clear that at The Great American Bash, he wants HBK in the ring. With that, Kofi Kingston hits the ring to defend his newly won Intercontinental Championship against the man who blames his misfortunes on everyone else: Chris Jericho.
This match doesn't last long as Jericho gets caught with a fistful of tights and gets disqualified. As he tries to fight the ref's decision, he decides to keep an eye on Kingston's eyes as he tries to rip them out of the their sockets.
Following a victory over a couple of local boys, Cody Rhodes, with his new partner Ted DiBiase, said that he was "tired of carrying Holly's dead weight every week." But they weren't the only ones making noise that night. Jillian was hoping to make a name for herself at the expense of the one armed Women's Champion. She fared as well in that match as Jamie Noble did in his "prison style" warning to The Big Red Monster.
In an effort to impress Katie Lea Burchill, Jamie tried to issue a warning to the biggest, baddest guy on the RAW Roster. Unfortunately for him, the biggest, baddest guy on the RAW Roster was still pissed off from last night. After pummeling the newest addition to RAW, it was time to find out if the self proclaimed "Wrestling God" and his master plan would work.
Main Event: World Heavyweight Championship
CM Punk defeats JBL
As Layfield tries to show his power on RAW, his security force surrounds the ring. Punk has complete control, and JBL's force tries to interfere until Punk gets some unexpected help.
As Punk drops him with a high kick, John Cena returns to the arena with some much needed help: Cryme Tyme. As Cena, Shad and JTG stand at the entrance way, the security force tries to exhort their authority, but they don't know what is about to happen.
The three men rush the ring and take out the unemployed club bouncers. As JBL tries to restore order, Punk turns him around and drops him with the GTS to pick up the win. After that, he jumps over the top ropes and lands on the mall cops. The show ends with the four men showing that if Martial Law is truly declared, it will be CMartial Punk Law that runs RAW at least this week.
The question: Now that Edge has lost his most prized possession, what will he do this Friday night when he has to face his fiancee one week before the wedding?
