Was Alabama's BCS Title Win Lucky, Good or Both?

I need your opinion, did ALABAMA win the recent BCS Title game due to their dominating D and power rushing game or did Alabama win due to luck since McCoy, the Longhorn's star QB, got hurt early in the game?  Or was AL's win a mixture of being the better team and luck?

3.  MY VIEW:  ALABAMA was more good then lucky and would of beaten TX even if McCoy was healthy.  Let's consider;

A. Early in the game TX couldn't pull away from AL and build a 14 point lead when it was given prime opportunities. 

B. The play of game wasn't just McCoy's injury, but when TX refused to go on 4th and 1 and slam the ball down AL's throat. The counter arguement is that McCoy was NOT the QB and that effected the passing threat.   My point is that an OL in the BCS title game needs to get one yard no matter if McCoy, McDonald or Mickey Mouse was the QB. It showed that TX feared AL's D line.

C. True, McCoy's loss was huge and affected TX O game plan, but TX DL was manhandled by AL as they pulled away from TX, one AL RB scampered on a large run, not touched at all by any TX D players.  Yes, many said that TX's D was affected by the loss of McCoy, but McCoy doesn't play D and that was A TIME FOR TX D TO STEP FORWARD, NOT HIDE BEHIND THE McCOY INJURY AND MOMENTUM SWING EXCUSE!

D.  Yes, Gilbert, TX's young QB improved and played with heroism,  but their back up should of had a lot more playing time given the many blow out wins TX was involved with the past two seasons.  Good teams need to have a back up that can contribute if their starter gets injured!  Injuries happen, deal with it!!

E.  Alabama did go conservative in the 2nd half, and congrats to TX for their heroic comeback, BUT, BUT, AL made the plays when they needed to seal the win.

F.  Stats are nice, yes, TX did outgain AL, but AL asserted it's will, scored, created turnovers and dominated the game when needed.

G. Get a grip America, THE SEC WINS TITLES BECAUSE THEIR OL AND DL ARE SUPERIOR THAN OTHERS.  AL's lines controlled the game and made the plays that sealed TX's fate.  AL's DL created huge TO's and forced TX into a one dimensional O!

H.  ALABAMA was the nation's favorite to win this game, even if McCoy played. 
The reality seems that AL would of won, should they asserted and pushed all four quarters as their lines dominated and would of worn down TX's lines. AL exposed TX weakness even before McCoy went down, the lack of a power rushing game! 

I. ALABAMA played a much more difficult schedule then TX. They won arguably the best CFB conference in America, dominated FL for the SEC Title and beat more ranked teams than TX.  Who exactly did TX beat and dominate this year?  NE?  OK, with what multiple losses?  Who?
