Lane Kiffin Caught Lying Yet Again: What Will He Say Next?

Larry Burton (PCB, Fl.) Lane Kiffin gets in front of the microphone and tells the reporter from the Knoxville News Sentinel that he nor his staff will be recruiting ANY Tennessee commitments.

Today I learned that Tennessee-committed Eddrick Loftin has now planned a visit to USC to "look things over." Boy, that lie didn't take long to sprout legs.

I also learned from a colleague at the Atlanta Journal Constitution that Monte Kiffin has been burning the jet fuel going back and forth to Georgia to woo Georgia commitment Nickell Robey, and maybe visiting him a little too often.

According to his high school AD Chuck Loveless, "He's planning to visit Southern Cal next week (Robey). Monte Kiffin has been very persistent. He's probably been in here more than is legal. Of course they don't pay attention to the rules."

Then there is the story that a Tennessee Rivals website accused Kiffin of a recruiting violation at USC for allegedly picking a recruit up in a limo. They want it added to a list of charges against USC and Kiffin that the NCAA is amassing.

This would be nothing new for Kiffin as Tennessee is currently under investigation for their use of recruiting hostesses while Kiffin was still coaching there.

Of course now everybody knows that once he hightailed it out of town, Orgeron started calling Vols early enrollees and allegedly told them not to go to class and instead to go with them to California, yet another NCAA violation.

This is a man who left his last two coaching locations in shambles. It is amazing that USC still can't see the writing on the wall, or the Tennessee rock.
