Browns' Josh Cribbs Takes Nine Teammates To Pro Bowl with Him, Loves the Fans
Cleveland Browns Pro Bowler Josh Cribbs might have one of the biggest hearts of any special teams player the NFL has ever seen.
Despite his current contract issues with the Browns, Cribbs has brought nine—that's right, nine—of his fellow special teams blockers with him to the Pro Bowl in Miami.
Some of the players he brought are running back Jerome Harrison, fullback Lawrence Vickers, linebacker Blake Costanzo, and safety Nick Sorensen.

Cribbs is also wearing one of each of his fellow special teams blockers' jerseys every day leading up to the game on Sunday, Jan. 31.
It's good to see that Cribbs has a huge heart and knows who helped him get to the Pro Bowl this year by bringing those who paved the way for him to get into the NFL record book with eight career kick returns for touchdowns.
Cribbs Loves Browns Fans
When NFL.com asked Cribbs about the Browns' fans, here's what he said:
“The fans are bar none, just amazing. They keep me there. Everyone is amazing everywhere I go. They accept me with warm blood. Even throughout the situation— athletes asking for more money; that’s a touchy subject, especially in a blue-collar city. Not in Cleveland. They treat me like I’m their brother or a family member. They show so much love to me; it’s remarkable.”
Browns fans have been a huge supporter of Cribbs since his arrival in Cleveland in 2005, and there are even fans that have created their own "Pay the Man" T-shirts that you can buy in support of the Browns' dangerous return man.
Cribbs' agents and the Browns have begun to communicate again and will be talking numbers once more. Even team President Mike Holmgren is a supporter of Cribbs and has told the media, "I love Josh Cribbs...and [I] want him to be here..."
Thank you, President Holmgren; all Browns fans thank you. And congrats to Cribbs, whose appearance in the Pro Bowl is really the only reason to watch the game, because who doesn't want to see him return a kick or two for a touchdown?
