1. Barcelona- Barcelona are top after an impressive 3-0 victory over Valladolid. They remain top of La Liga, five points ahead of Real Madrid. Coming up: Barca face mid-table team Sporting Gijon on Saturday, a game they will be confident they can win.

2. Inter Milan- Inter feel confident they can win the Serie A now. They impressively defeated their fierce rivals AC Milan on Sunday 2-0, despite Sneijder being sent off in the first half and Lucio near the end. Coming up: Inter face 12th place Parma, who have hit a bit of slump since the season resumed, tying just one game and losing the rest.

3. Roma- What a win for Roma in stoppage time over Juventus, 2-1 the final score. Roma greatly helped there champions league qualifcation hopes. Roma face Siena on Sunday and want to extend their unbeaten streak.

4. Manchester United- An impressive 4-0 victory over Hull puts Man U into third. Wayne Rooney was spectacular for United, scoring all of their goals. Coming Up: Man U face Man City in the Carling Cup Semi-final second leg, and then they play Arsenal in a extremely crucial match this Sunday.

5. Bayern Munich- Beat Werder Bremen 3-2 and continuously challenging Leverkusen for the title now. Bayern are now on an 8-game winning streak. Coming up: Bayern face Mainaz and will be looking to take the three points.

6. Bordeaux- I can't believe it. Bordeaux win again, this time against Le Mans 3-2. If they can keep this up, they may have a long champions league run. Coming Up: Next they face Boulougne and are confident of winning.

7. Bayer Leverkusen- With an impressive 3-0 win over Hoffenheim, they remain top of the Bundesliga, two points ahead of Bayern Munich. Coming up: Bayer face relegation candidates Freiburg on Sunday.

8. Chelsea- Beat Preston North End 2-0 in the FA Cup. And what luck for Chelsea, they are once again drawn at home in the cup and against weaker competition, this time playing Cardiff City. Coming Up: At home to on-form Birmingham City tomorrow.

9. Real Madrid- Real Madrid beat Malaga 2-0 but are still unable to catch up with Barcelona. Coming Up: Madrid face a Depor squad determined to get a CL spot.

10. Leeds United- The league one side makes it into the top 10, what an impressive comeback against Tottenham, scoring a PK in the 96th minute. But their cup form isn't translating into League One, they lost to Swindon Town over the weekend. Coming Up: Leeds play Colchester United on Saturday.
