Michigan Thursday: Recruits and More Walk On News
The University of Michigan coach Rich Rodriguez is all over the country trying to get a couple of top recruits to end the class.
He is securing his verbal commits so they sign their letters on Wednesday. Rodriguez was with Sean Parker on Monday and the Talbott brothers yesterday.Ā He is also rumored to be in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, today to maybe pay a visit to Tony Grimes and Demar Dorsey.
- Michigan is using the final official visit weekend before signing day to entertain preferred walk ons. The list of the prospects that are due to visit are:
Quintin Tucker LB - San Diego
Chris Eddins, DT - Detroit
Mason Krysinski, PK - UticaĀ
John Haarer, TE - Ann Arbor
Kristian Mateus, OL - Forest Hills, MI
Michael Hirsch, FB - Glenview, IL
Tiaan DeNysschen, OLB/DE - Bloomfield Hills
- Big House Hockey? Yes, Michigan will play MSU next year at the Big House. The date is Dec. 11 so bring some warm clothes.
- Demar Dorsey has parted ways with Florida so it seems it's down to Michigan, FSU, and USC.
I still believe FSU is in the driver's seat. Some have speculated that Florida pulled his offer/scholarship due to visits to U of M and FSU. Demar is also visiting USC this weekend as well. Demar is a cousin of Michigan QB Denard Robinson.
- The No. 1 player in the state of Ohio and a player that is ranked in the top 10 by most services, Jordan Hicks, LB from West Chester will be announcing his college of choice on Friday. He is down to OSU, Florida, and Texas. Most believe he is heading to Texas.
