NBA Soup Rumor Mill: Kirk Hinrich on Los Angeles Lakers' Radar?
A source has confirmed that the Los Angeles Lakers and Chicago Bulls have at least "discussed " a deal that would involve bringing point guard Kirk Hinrich to the West Coast.
Hinrich, who has spent his entire career in Chicago, is due for a change of scenery ever since losing his starting point guard spot to Derrick Rose last year.
Despite still starting (at shooting guard) and playing well during the Bulls' recent surge, Hinrich has been the subject of trade rumors for the past two years.

His production has regressed in recent years due to a changed role, as well as injury and poor shooting percentages.
The ongoing thought is that Hinrich, who has two years left on his deal, would give Los Angeles its first true point guard in some time, while allowing the Lakers to get rid of little-used players Sasha Vujacic and Adam Morrison.
A lot of things can happen between now and the Feb. 18th trade deadline.
Jordan Farmar's name has also come up as a possible trading piece, as Hinrich is viewed by the Lakers' brass to be a "perfect fit" for their offense while getting rid of Morrison's expiring contract.
The move would give Hinrich a fresh start in a familiar role and a chance to play for a legit title contender while giving Adam Morrison a better chance to prove himself in Chicago, as he is completely buried in the Lakers' deep rotation.
