2010 Senior Bowl: Stock Up, Stock Down
After the first two days of practice you can really start to separate the men from the boys. The Senior Bowl is a great way for top level prospects to compete against each other. With two more practices before the game, here’s my list of players on the rise and ones on the decline.
Stock Up:
1. Kyle Wilson- CB Boise State

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Wilson has been the best cornerback so far through two days of practice. He has been fluid in his backpedal and has shown a knack for breaking up passes.
2. Jared Odrick- DT Penn State
High Motor and ruthless are the words that would describe Odrick’s play so far. Odrick has dominated in 1-on-1 drills.
3. Dan LeFevour- QB Central Michigan
Being a Central Michigan student, I know how good Dan LeFevour is. LeFevour showed good arm strength and knew when to bullet the pass or put touch on the ball. LeFevour will be a very intriguing player to watch throughout the whole draft process. LeFevour has experience in the spread offense and is a duel-threat quarterback. Look for teams such as Arizona, Indianapolis, and New Orleans to take a hard look at him as their future quarterback.
4. Anthony Dixon- RB Mississippi State
Trying to tackle Anthony Dixon is like trying to tackle a bus. Dixon has shown that he’s the most physical running back in this year’s draft.
Stock Down:
1. Mardy Gilyard-WR Cincinnati
Gilyard struggled to get off the line of scrimmage when bigger cornerbacks would jam him. He also dropped a couple of passes and ran below average routes.
2. Tim Tebow-QB Florida
Tebow just looks terrible throwing the ball. Tebow has struggled from under center, throwing accurate passes, and throwing tight spirals. Most of Tebow’s throws look like wounded ducks and his slow wide up throwing motion hasn’t helped him at all.
3. Taylor Mays- S USC
Stiff hips, inability to cover 1-on-1, and overall playmaking skills. These are all reasons why May’s stock will just continue to fall. May’s looks the part for an elite safety prospect, but his play is comparable to a 3rd round draft prospect.
4. Terrance Cody- DT Alabama
Overweight and out of shape. Cody weighed in at 370 pounds, which is a BIG concern for his draft stock. Cody looks like the little cubby kid from “Bad Santa,” which is no compliment. Cody needs to perform great in the Senior Bowl Game and at the Combine or he might be passed up as the draft’s top NT prospect.
