The Oklahoma City Thunder Are On Track To Playoffs
The high flying Thunder are showing signs that they are playoff material.
If you were a Super Sonic fan, this is not what you wanted to hear about Oklahoma City and their second year with an NBA franchise.
A while back, a ridiculous website was brought to my attention. It was called "Curse The Thunder". The site, which looked to be professionally arranged, asked those who were behind the Super Sonics push to stay in Seattle to click a button and curse the Oklahoma City Thunder. A lot of disgruntled fans cursed the Thunder. Almost 15,000. They stated on the site that they wanted OKC to end up like the clippers.

It did not work.
Now, the Thunder are working on a 30 plus win season and a possible playoff berth.
There are still a lot of games to be played. But that does not take away what the Thunder are doing now.
They showed that they can win, no matter where they are. Most notably was the win over Atlanta on the road.
And the Northwest division is proving to be a tough division with every team but the Timberwolves having at least 20 wins.
Kevin Durant is having an all-star season. Jeff Green is making plays when a play is needed to win. Guys like Thabo Sefelosha and Serge Ibaka are showing their defensive presence as well as contributing to the offense. Russell Westbrook is turning into the point guard coach Scott Brooks wants.
The whole team is improving. Not just season to season, but day to day.
Look for the Thunder to take the seventh or eighth position in the playoffs. If they keep up with what they are doing now, you can expect to see the Thunder in the playoffs for the first time.
