AC Milan's David Beckham Manhandled to See if Armani Adverts Are Real
Italian journalist Elena Di Cioccio really made a name for herself on Thursday, after bending down and squeezing AC Milan star David Beckham between the legs during a recent interview outside a hotel.
However, no harm was done to the midfielder on-loan for a second spell from Los Angeles Galaxy, as he instinctively retracted in time to protect his crown jewels from damage.
Although some damage did seem to have been done, as Miss Di Cioccio ran down the street whilst being chased by security guards shouting "E piccolo, Beckham," which translates to "Beckham is small."
Beckham climbed into a black car but she ran around to the driver's seat in which he was sitting, shouting "You’ve taken us for a ride! How could you, David!?"
According to Miss Di Cioccio, the publicity stunt was a "test" to see how the former England captain measured up to his picture (above) in Armani billboards.
So perhaps the truth is out there? David Beckham has a small...you know what. After all, the role of the journalist is to hold power to account and uncover the truth!
Beckham was being interviewed by a second blonde television presenter when the stunt took place.
Asked what he liked about Milan, he said in English: "Everything. People have been incredible to me around the city."
Elena Di Cioccio is also a presenter for Le Iene (The Hyenas), which is broadcast on Italia1, a channel owned by Mediaset, the media empire of Silvio Berlusconi.
Berlusconi , the Italian prime minister, also owns AC Milan .
David Beckham has since been replaced in the Armani advertising campaign by Portugal and Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo.
