Royal Rumble 2010: The Speculation Grows More and More

We are just one week away from the Royal Rumble—a life-altering event for the WWE superstars. And the questions start to pop up: Who will be the winner? Why? What title will be the one at Mania ? Will fans like it?

Well here is my personal opinion, and answers to the questions.

The most probable winners for the Royal Rumble this year are:

Shawn Michaels

HBK is at the top of the list this year, and many WWE officials are trying to have him and Triple H at the end of the Rumble this year.

Why? 

Well, many WWE officials are trying to have him and Triple H at the end of this year´s Rumble match. On the other hand, the only reason HBK would win the Rumble is none other than to face The Undertaker at Wrestlemania 26 .

Will fans like it?

The answer is NO.  The WWE universe would enjoy the win but in the long term the feud against Undertaker leading to Mania would be just the same as last year´s. HBK, I´m sorry, but lets get real: he had his shot. Why screw the others to grant him another?

Triple H

The Game is always a favorite in this event, and just like he said on Raw he lives just for a World Title and a win at the Rumble would be just the way to go for H.

Why?

Well the only reason would be to win the WWE Title and maybe a feud with HBK leading to Mania this year.

Will fans like it?

Just like with HBK, the WWE universe would love to see the win, but again i ask you: Why another shot for him?

Y2J

Many people don´t really care for him, maybe because he´s just too great as a heel? Maybe, but Y2J is a really solid candidate heading to the Rumble.

Why?

Well for him is just a name: Edge. WWE wants to have a really nice feud between these two heading to Mania . Now don´t you guys think it would spice things up a bit if a World Title would be on the line?

Will fans like it?

Well the WWE Universe would probably boo these endings, but later on they will realize how great it could be to have this reality.

CM Punk

The 2010 Jesus is also a big name for the Rumble this year. A battle with The Undertaker or even a possible Randy Orton match-up would refresh the feuds on WWE.

Why?

Well for Punk is just a push he missed by the time of Hell in a Cell for internal trouble with the officials, and can you think of a better way to finally make him a big name in the company?

Will fans like it?

Like Y2J, Punk generates a really nice amount of heat in the audience but again I point to the fact that WWE needs really new feuds.

Edge

The DREAM winner for the Rumble this year. I have to say I'm really pushing for this to happen. Edge is a great superstar, and if WWE gave Cena the shot to do it in his return. Why not Edge? He has been nothing but great for the WWE the last couple of months.

Why?

Again, he really deserves it. The guy has been a big surprise this past year and nothing would be more awesome than to give the fans what the fans want: EDGE as the 2010 Rumble Winner.

Will fans like it?

The answer can be none other than a YES.
