Riddle Me This: Which Is the Best NBA Team of 2010?
Before they lost their last game against the Atlanta Hawks, their record for the year looked like this:
@Miami - W 107-97
@Cleveland - W 91-88
vs Chicago - W 113-108
@New York - L 93-97
vs Memphis - W 89-87
vs Houston - W 102-94
vs San Antonio - W 92-76
vs Phoenix - W 125-99
vs Sacramento - W 105-103
vs Miami - W 104-65
I know I'm giving it away because of the tags (and the photo obviously), but not to take away the fun, one wouldn't have guessed (and would still be surprised) if he's not paying close attention.
Yes, it's the Charlotte Bobcats. The best team of 2010 so far.
Oddly enough, they lost to the worst team in that bunch (scratches head).
But still, all quality wins against teams all legitimately competing for playoff spots. The six-game winning streak they haveĀ at homeĀ was nothing short of impressive.
Plus, their victims included some of the best teams in the league being Cleveland, San Antonio, and Phoenix. Then, they closed it out with a rout of the Miami Heat (limiting them to a ridiculously low 65 points). They seem to have Miami's number.
As a result, Gerald Wallace should deservedly go to Dallas not just to participate in some slam dunk contest. Stephen Jackson, the team's top offensive producer, is a considerable All-Star too. Bobcat fans must be high right now.
But then, the Bobcats wentĀ on the roadĀ and lost to the Hawks (with the way they have been playing, this is surprising). But it has to end somehow, somewhere. I guess they were just tired after the trip.
