Top 10 Eye-Popping Dunks of All Time
Here is my top ten list of eye-popping dunks.
I'm talking about the ones that get you jumping out of your chair, screaming "there's no way that just happened".
I'm not judging difficulty of the dunk or the importance of the dunk in the game. I'm not looking at the level of competition or skill.

I'm just looking for dunks that are visually impressive.
Dunks that make your eyes pop out of your head.

10) Little Man Tip Dunk
Allen Iverson puts back a missed shot with a two-handed jam over the Raptors' Marcus Camby.
Part of what makes this so eye-popping is the fact that Allen Iverson is six feet tall (at best).
9) Baseline Slam
Michael Jordan with a hesitation move on the baseline, then a hard dunk over Patrick Ewing.
This dunk is so great visually because it combines a brilliant move with a posterizing dunk. Jordan has had a lot of great dunks in his time, but this might be the best.
8) Reverse 360 Windmill
Vince Carter started off the 2000 NBA Dunk Contest with a bang with this reverse 360 windmill.
To be that high at the end of a 360 and then throw it down with such power, is just ridiculous.
7) Make It Rain
Michael Jordan, in a Nike Exhibition in 1986, shatters the backboard with a thunderous dunk.
The fantastic raining down of glass is part of what makes this dunk so visually stunning.
6) Between the Legs Reverse
Jason Richardson, at the 2003 NBA Dunk Contest goes between the legs for an incredible reverse dunk.
Jason Richardson is one of the most creative dunkers of all time, and brought a lot of excitement to the dunk contest for the three years he was there.
5) College Poster Dunk
Jarret Johnson, a sophomore at Anderson University, throws down the ultimate poster dunk.
Almost as epic as the dunk itself, is the aftermath. Johnson's teammates are running around, screaming, giving high fives to random people. Meanwhile, the victim lies on the floor, ignored by his teammates.
4) Behind-The-Back 360
Kobe Bryant catches the outlet pass, goes behind his back, and throws down a 360 against the Nuggets.
This dunk combines a brilliant move with a 360 poster dunk and will make you jump out of your chair.
3) Ridiculous
Can't describe this dunk by Guy Dupoy, you just got to see it. It combines all of the elements of some of the great dunks.
The insane excitement of the crowd really adds to the magic of this dunk.
2) The Dunk Heard Round The World
Vince Carter, playing for Team USA in the 2000 Summer Olympics jumps over a 7-footer and throws it down.
This is one of those things where I think you remember where you were the first time you saw it. You can't watch this, even after you've seen it a hundred times, without being amazed.
1) The Second Revolution
Taurian Fontenette, known as "The Air Up There", performs a 720 dunk at an AND1 game in 2006.
This is one where you don't believe your eyes the first time you see it. You gotta keep rewinding, keep re-playing, trying to force your mind to accept it.
I'm sure you have thoughts about what I may have missed or ordered incorrectly, so let me know.
