Saints Fans: "This Is The Way We Live"

As if we need a reason to have a party...but what a reason we have!

For the first time in Saints history we are hosting the NFC Championship game and we are ready.

Agreed, we had a three week slumber as we lost our undefeated status. But I ask of all readers, "Who didn't slack off at work during the holidays?"

The plucking of Kurt Warner and the Cardinals should have dispelled the doom and gloom for the weary.

No matter where you turn, the birthplace of jazz is jamming.  Remixes of "Who Dat", "When the Saints Go Marching In" and "Who Let the Dogs Out" are blaring from office buildings as the work week winds down.

Every radio station is playing yet another one of a kind Saints anthem.

Ying Yang Twins "Halftime Stand up and Get Crunk" is one of the favorites, and can be heard during the game after every score.

That's right this is the way we live! We live for a party and we have the endurance to make it through Mardi Gras season year after year. Locals know how to pace themselves, visitors tend to pass out and miss the best part.

Carnival season is well underway. First parade is always on All King's Day and picks up to a fevered pitch two weeks before Fat Tuesday. It's our time.

Brad Childress had no idea the firestorm he engaged when he threw down a challenge to the Who Dat Nation. It will be relentless and he too will need earplugs.

We live for a party...now we get to party where we live.

We have been down but never out. The game may be Sunday but the party has already begun.

Heck even the elementary schools in the area are allowing the kids to wear Saints gear as long as they donate a dollar to the Haitian earthquake victims.

Yes we are sailing through uncharted waters but we have a plan unlike those nomadic tribes of pagans, the Vikings who dared to take on the Christians. Those Christians who perished became Saints; the Vikings went down in history....off with their heads!
