Come and Gone, The First Game Of R9 and RC Had Another Player As Star

Yesterday i ran out of work, and got to my friends house to watch the game, the stadium was full to receive its stars, at 21:50 they got in the field and there he was, Roberto Carlos wearing the Corinthians jersey.

The Game Starts

The game started and after just one minute, the first goal was scored, and everyone thought this was going to be an easy match. Well, that didn`t happen, and the small team from countryside started attacking at its fullest, but as the most of their attacks came from the right side of Corinthians, we didn`t get much to see from Roberto, while ronaldo was stranded marked by two defenders all the time, and after a goal from bragantino, the first hal ended at 1x1.

Second Half

At the second half, the rain started, and at some point roberto slided in to the bench accidentaly and lightly injured his back, and staying out of the rest of the game. Yet that was not a problem, cause Jorge Henrique, a player who had already proved his efficiency in 2009, ran from one side of the game to the other saving Corinthians from taking a few goals (specially one at the last minute of the game) and scoring a beatiful curve-ball goal, putting the score at 2x1. The first official win this Season.

Final considerations

After the game they stated that Corinthians still has to find it`s rhythm at the beginning of this new season, and that from now on it will only get better.

Considering the hype this team has become, i hope so.
