Adrian Peterson, All Day, All Night. But has he been All Day and Night? Yes. See Adrian is not lighting up the stat sheet with his usual 25+ carries for 125+ yards, and he is not breaking off those 85 yard touchdowns that Chris Johnson is. Adrian is doing new things. Protecting the quarterback, catching the football, and getting to the end zone more than any other offensive player(obviously not including QB's). And people are still questioning if the Vikings running game will be there against New Orleans on Sunday. The better question is, how much of the running game will we see on Sunday. You see AP is the best running back in the NFL, even he can make a 40 year old quarterback look 20 again. You think it's Brett? Sure he's a great QB(one of the best of all time)but it's not him that is carrying this team, it's AP.

If the media pays attention to the games they would notice the 8-9 men in the box and the predictable play calling of the Vikings. AP doesn't make the calls, but AP does put those 8-9 men in the box, and oh does it give Brett the opportunity to make throws to Sidney Rice and Percy Harvin. You see, all the attention is on Adrian Peterson, not Brett Favre. It almost seems like Brett is playing a magic trick on everyone in the NFL, for some reason no one respects his play this year, for whatever reason Brett is looking at 8-9 men in the box and single coverage all the time. But CAN YOU BLAME THEM?? You have Adrian Peterson behind him, and once AP gets passed the line of scrimmage with one man beat, it's over like the Chargers season. If you think about it Adrian Peterson is the most valuable to this team. If he goes down, no one is going to care much about Chester Taylor. When Chester gets the ball he usually gets a good 10 yard gain because no one expects him to run, why would Chiller run him, I mean you have AP. That's something else AP does, make Chester into a weapon. Adrian Peterson helped elevate Favre's game which helped elevate Percy/Sidney/Shiancoe/Chester/and gave Chiller a new contract. It was a big domino effect that was started by Adrian. Now Adrian had a bad season..4.5 yards per carry 1350 yards+ 18 TD's(complete sarcasm) so I could see why the media is down on him. The media should realize he is the reason why Minnesota is in the NFC championship right now.

If the Vikings win on Sunday, and make it to the Superbowl, you better understand that Minnesota won because of one man, and that's AP. The unsung hero of the Minnesota Vikings.
