Top 10 Clubs Of The Week- First Edition

1.  Chelsea- Chelsea are top of the standings after humiliating Sunderland 7-2 despite missing players to the African Cup of Nations.

2. Barcelona- The Club World Cup winners were knocked out of the Copa del Rey in the beginning of the week, but rebounded with a resounding 4-0 win vs. Sevilla.

3. Arsenal- The gunners sit at the top of the prem, after coming back 2-0 down vs. bolton at halftime to win 4-2.

4. AC Milan- Life is good for Milan right now, defeating Juve 3-0 and most recently Parma 4-0. They will be looking to challenge Inter when they play on Sunday.

5. Valencia- Recently defeated Villareal 4-1 and will be looking to end Real & Barca's streak as finishing the top 2 in La Liga.

6. Manchester United - There hasn't been much talk of Man U this season and they are quietly sitting just 1 pt. behind the gunners, most recently defeating Burnley 3-0. They will be looking to have another one of their second half charges and top the table.

7. Manchester City - Despite losing to Everton 2-0 on Saturday they were able to overcome Man U in the carling cup semifinals.

8. Benfica- Benfica provided another class performance this week, defeating Maritimo 5-0. They are challenging for the Liga Sagres tital along with Braga.

9. Bordeaux- 3-1 winers over Grenoble today and they went 0-0 with Marseille on Sunday. 11 pts. ahead of Lille and it looks like they will win the Ligue 1.

10. Bayer Leverkusen- 4-2 over Mainz this Saturday, and first in the Bundesliga. They must keep winning to prevent a challenging Schalke and Bayern Munchen.
