Sol Campbell in CL Squad, Flamini Is Back, Injuries to Arsenal?

John SmithJan 19, 2010

Plenty of Arsenal-ish news this January the 19th of 2009 2010 morning (am I the only person who does this like until February).

Campbell

Today, it is reported that Sol Campbell will be included in our Champions League squad list as one of our extra registrations. I guess that means we aren't going to be making three MORE signings all capable of playing in the Champion's League immediately. Who would have thought it!

What's interesting is what number Mr. Sol will wear. He used to be 23 during his time with Arsenal but of course that jersey is occupied by a member of the KGB, so it would be unwise to take it from him. Especially midseason. (Nevermind being impossible to do.)

In other news, I transferred Sol Campbell onto Arsenal's squad in Pro Evo 2010 and he's f***ing brilliant with Gallas. If he can be half as good as he is in virtual la la land, I will be very pleased indeed.

Flamini

Matt is Back!!!

In England that is...he is joining an ever growing list of former Arsenal players...correction...former players who were no longer good enough to play for Arsenal up at Manchester Shitty.

He joins Silvinho, Toure, Vieira, theonewhosenameshallnotbespoken, and I'm sure at least 10 other players up at the Eastlands.

Fair play to him. Either he has f***ed Vieira's chances of getting to the World Cup in CM, or he has f***ed his own by putting himself at RB where France already have plenty of cover, or behind Vieira and Barry in the CM pecking order at Manchester City.

I think he'll look back on his decision to leave Arsenal, and I think he'll be quite chuffed with himself. Although personally I think I'd take the extra 20,000 a week and run, but that's just cause I, like Flamini, am a filthy coont.

Injuries

Denilson is back after having severed his spine for the second time this season, and Theo Walcott is ready to play his ninth minute of football this season after having ripped both of his groins in half and dislocating his unsocketed shoulders for the 15th time this year.

Unfortunately Fran the Man, of whom I'm not a fan (despite scoring quite a good goal against BoltAN - No???) has got a little niggle with his ankle the poor fella so he'll be out for a couple of weeks until he ships off to Atletico Madrid this summer.

That's all for now guys,

More on Arsenal v. Bolton tomarra.
