Cleveland Browns Fans: Braylon Edwards Fact-Based Humor To Start Your Day
New York Jets wide receiver Braylon Edwards has had a roller coaster-like season in 2009, starting with being on the Cleveland Browns' roster at the beginning of the season and dropping passes.
Then getting into a Downtown Cleveland fight at a club, getting traded to the Jets two days later, and dropping passes.
Trash talking the Browns, going to court for his fight, barely getting into the playoffs, and dropping passes.

Now the Jets are in the AFC Championship game and he is on the threshold of the Super Bowl and dropping passes.
Wow...what a season. (How many drops did he have in 2009? Unofficially six, but that seems too low.)
Cleveland Judge Scolds Edwards
This past week, Edwards had to take a trip back to Cleveland for his court appearance regarding his involvement in punching a local promoter in the face.
Back in November, Edwards pleaded not guilty to punching Edwards Givens, who is also a friend of NBA superstar LeBron James, in the face out of what Givens said is jealously toward James' success.
This past week, Edwards pleaded no contest in the misdemeanor and the judge fined him $1,000, gave him a suspended 180-day jail sentence (which he will probably appeal), and inactive probation.
Municipal Judge Michelle Early told Edwards like it is and said, "Someone who has as much to lose as you should not be standing in front of me. Situations like this are senseless. You have to make better choices."
Ha! The Judge told him, but he probably wasn't even listening.
Edwards will be looking at a suspension of some kind in 2010 from the NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell now that the court case is over. Most likely Edwards will receive a one to three game suspension at the start of the 2010 season.
Edwards' Own Father Criticizes His Son about Drops
In a humorous twist, Edwards' father spoke with The Star-Ledger of New Jersey and said, "People wouldn't be harping on him dropping passes, if he wasn't dropping passes."
Stan Edwards coached his son in youth football and said, "It's mind-boggling. He'll make catches that nobody else in the game will make. It's not making a difficult catch. He'll make a borderline impossible catch! And then he'll drop one on a simple route."
"Am I worried about him getting a reputation for dropping the football?" Stan said. "No. Because let's be honestāhe's earned it."
Ha! It's good to see even Edwards' own father is throwing his son under the bus since he cannot stop dropping passes.
Even though he is on the threshold of the Super Bowl, Browns fans still don't care, but they are still laughing at him every time he drops a pass.
Especially endzone passes that go right through his hands, like a week ago when the Jets beat the Bengals in the Wildcard round of the NFL Playoffs.
