| Since Gilbert Arenas has been out, and Randy Foye has received quality minutes, Foye's been a machine. In seven games since Jan. 6, Foye is averaging 18.4 points and 6.7 assists per game. Earl Boykins has also benefited and comes in as a tiny little change of pace. I do, however, think this is our most favorable matchup. Andre Miller has played great, and his veteran abilities along with a nice post game will make him an impossible guard for Washington. Steve Blake has also shown aggressiveness and a good shooting touch since returning; our guys take this matchup.

| I will try to keep this updated if possible, but Brandon Roy is currently listed as questionable for this game. Should he be unable to play, Rudy Fernandez or Jerryd Bayless will start in his place. I'm still confident in our guards, whoever they may be. DeShawn Stevenson starts for the Wizards, but he doesn't contribute a whole lot offensively. He'll hit a few jumpers and play defense but nothing major. His backup, Nick Young, comes off the bench with scoring in mind, so he'll need to be stopped. I'm just not convinced they'll do much.

| Much like Randy Foye, Caron Butler's production has gone way up since Arenas has been out. In Caron's last six games, he's averaging 18 points and seven rebounds per game. Butler's recent numbers are very similar to Martel's recent explosion in production. Webster has been so good I just have to give him the edge. Always go with the hot player, and until Martell goes 0-fer from three, I'm confident in him. Blazers take this matchup.

| Antawn Jamison is having one of his best years as a pro with 22.5 points and 9.1 rebounds per game. He's always been a great player, somewhat under-appreciated, but I think he'll be the most trouble for Portland in the morning. Andray Blatche, who will back up both Jamison and Haywood, is a beast with tons of potential. I think LaMarcus' incredible effort of late will be huge in this game, but he's going to have a hard time coming out and defending Jamison. Antawn will also commit to rebounding, which is something Aldridge must also do. Wizards get it.

| Brendan Haywood is having one of his best years for Washington; not only does he have nearly 11 rebounds a game this year, but over the last six games he's averaging 12.7 points and 13.8 rebounds per game. He's a beast inside, and he'll be a nightmare for Juwan and Jeff. Despite recent solid play, I think this is one of those games where the opponent's big guys will be too much. Howard will hit a few open jumpers, and Pendo will be active and pumped up. But you can't teach size. Fortunately, the Blazers will still win this game.
