In a startling turn of events, it has been reported that Tiger Woods is in Hattiesburg, Miss.—and the world’s best known golfer is not in the Magnolia State to see the home of Brett Favre.

It has been reported by WLBT News Channel 3 in Jackson from sources that Woods is checking himself into the Pine Grove Mental Health Facility for sex addiction. The Pine Grove Facility is one of the top three facilities in the country for sex addiction.

WLBT called the Mental Health Facility to see if in fact Woods had checked himself in, only to be told that such information could not be released. They also asked if the facility could tell them if anyone had been admitted and was told that information is confidential as well.

The only thing for certain is Woods has taken a break from golf after a car crash early Friday morning after Thanksgiving. Woods is trying to repair damage to his marriage after admitting several extramarital affairs.

As soon as anything is confirmed, we will try to report it.

Woods is still the number one ranked golfer in the world.
