Blake Griffin Out for the Season: It's Official, the Clippers are Indeed Cursed
You won't get the chance to see Blake Griffin play until 2010-11.
It's been reported that the Los Angeles Clippers rookie will undergo season-ending surgery to repair his broken left kneecap. Sadly, the No.1 draft pick's season is over before it even began.
Is this a surprise to Clippers fans?

New NBA Mock Draft 📝
I'm sure it's not. They should be used to bad things like this happening by now, especially when it comes to draft picks.
The Clippers other two No.1 picks, Danny Manning (1988) and Michael Olowokandi (1998), never lived up to expectations.
Manning missed 56 games during his rookie year due to injury and failed to become the superstar that many people thought he would be. However, he did make two All-Star appearances.
Olowokandi, dubbed the "Next Hakeem Olajuwon," turned out to be one of the NBA's biggest busts ever as he averaged just 8.3 points and 6.8 rebounds per game over his short career.
Just think, the Clippers could have had Dirk Nowitzki, Paul Pierce, or Vince Carter instead of the "Kandi Man".
Ouch.
Other awful draft moves by the Clips include passing up John Stockton for Lancaster Gordon, passing up Karl Malone for Benoit Benjamin, and opting for Reggie Williams instead of Scottie Pippen.
But what really stands out is how the team passed up future Hall-of-Famers Kobe Bryant and Kevin Garnett for Lorenzen Wright and Antonio McDyess.
Another "ouch".
Hopefully Griffin isn't the next Manning or Olowokandi and returns to the league at full strength next season.
And hopefully he emerges as a superstar and finally helps transform the Clippers from perennial lottery participants into title contenders.
Keep your head up Clipper fans.
The curse will be broken soon.
