Please Mike Hamilton, do us all a favor.  Do not insult our intelligence by pretending to be as appalled as the rest of Big Orange Country when Kiffin skipped town to head back to Los Angeles.

You forced a coaching legend to quit before he wanted to, even though you claimed to have the program's best interests at heart.  Phillip Fulmer was a good man with a lot of class and integrity.

Who did you hire to replace a man with his stature?  A man fired by Al Davis who had no experience as a head coach at the college level, especially in the high profile SEC.

You said you wanted to go with someone outside the family and you did just that.  An outsider with no ties to Tennessee.  Sounds about right since you yourself are not really part of the Tennessee family.  You came from Clemson and claimed to bleed orange.  You actually bled green, the color of money.

You started charging students for their tickets which drew outrage from the people who help to pay your salary.  Then you hire a guy with a bigger mouth than Steve Spurrier and I didnt think that was possible.

He comes in and the program deals with players robbing people on campus and a ton of secondary violations and then an investigation from the NCAA on possible sanctions.

By hiring this guy from outside the family and then watching him leave after only 14 months on the job, one must ponder the question:  Is it time for Mike Hamilton to go?

The vote here is yes as you have betrayed the family as much as Lane and his daddy and the rest of the "boys" have on this night.   Maybe it is time for you to retire to sunnier climates.  Lane might keep you a seat on the plane out to sunny Los Angeles if you ask real nice.  That way you can still watch your boy coach seeing as how you had so few opportunities to see it in person in Knoxville.

Vol fans can move on without Kiffin and we can do the same without you Mike Hamilton.  Do us all a favor and leave under the cloak of darkness like Lane and the crew will do tonight if they are lucky.
