ESPN's John Hollinger Would Love To See Kevin Martin on the Phoenix Suns

Apparently using ESPN’s NBA Trade Machine for random speculation isn’t reserved solely for fans. The four letter network’s John Hollinger seems to be a fan of it as well.
In a piece he wrote for ESPN.com’s Insider section, Hollinger suggests a trade to help improve the Suns. He feels dealing Earl Clark, Leandro Barbosa, and Goran Dragic to the Kings for Kevin Martin and Sergio Rodriguez would help the Suns compete with the Lakers.
It’s an interesting idea but I’m not sure how much it improves the Suns.
If there is one position that the Suns don’t need to upgrade at it’s shooting guard.
With Jason Richardson, Leandro Barbosa, and Goran Dragic, the two guard spot is set. If you are going to trade one of them it should be for an athletic big man who can help defensively and rebound. It seems to be the Suns weakest link.
Pairing Nash with a young, entertaining and athletic guy like Kevin Martin is enticing, I just don’t see this deal making sense for the Suns now or in the future.
