This one isn't as easy as the one yesterday. While those choices were evident, there have been many sharp jerseys that have been released in the NHL.
10. Buffalo Sabres, 1970-71
This one brings originality and a colour-scheme not used by many pro teams. After seeing their new "snail" jerseys, I am still begging for the Sabres to bring this one back full-time.
9. Washington Capitals, 2007-08
These jerseys were the best of any of the other RBK Edge jersey this year. The logo has a retro twist on it, they went back to the original colours, and the lettering and numbers are great.
8. Minnesota Wild, 2003-04
I actually don't like the Wild's white or green jerseys. But the red one is fantastic. It's a basic logo with with a basic design, but the ties put the icing on the cake.
7. Calgary Flames, 1998-99
This one is mainly for Calgarians, seeing as how they tribute them by placing a horse on the jersey in honor of the Calgary Stampede. Man, does this horse look possessed or what.
6. Mighty Ducks of Anaheim, 2003-04
Their regular uniforms from 1993 to 2006 were alright, but I loved the alternate jersey that was released in 2003. The handwritten name and the black and plum colour-scheme was something to behold for the two seasons it was around for.
5. Toronto Maple Leafs, 1998-99
In commemoration to the team leaving Maple Leaf Gardens and moving to the ACC, the Leafs made a third jersey out of the original logo. Don't get me wrong, I'm not a Leafs' fan. But I think this jersey deserves to be on this list.
4. San Jose Sharks, 2001-02
The new white and teal designs were made in 1998, but adding the black third jersey to the lineup was awesome. The dark look was fierce and looked sharp on the ice at the HP Pavilion in San Jose.
3. Chicago Blackhawks, 1955-56
This one is the all-round classiest looking jersey in hockey. There have been a few changes here and there through the years but the idea has stayed the same for over 50 years. Hopefully the new crop of Hawks can bring success back to the Windy City.
2. Vancouver Canucks, 1970-71
It was a hockey stick, plain and simple. The ultimate hockey design, as some fans have called it. This is just a basic logo with a blue and green colour-scheme. Even the new Canuck jerseys can't top this.
1. Detroit Red Wings, 1932-33
The first Detroit team in the NHL was the Cougars. They were introduced in 1926-27, and then became the Falcons four years later. After two years as the Falcons, they became the Red Wings.
In this edition of the Red Wings, there was only a red jersey. In 1934-35 they released a white uniform to go along with the original idea. Look at these jerseys, and look at the ones now. Other than a few touch ups, these guys have been wearing the same jerseys for 76 years. Classic.
Leave your feedback here, and offer other candidates to who has the best jerseys in the NHL. If you're angry that I left your favourite team out, you're not alone.
