Houston Rockets End Three-Game Skid with Win over Knicks
The Houston Rocketsโ first three-game skid of the season has thankfully come to an end.
On Saturday evening at the Toyota Center, the Rockets returned to their rootsโtaking care of business in a 105-96 victory over the New York Knicks.
After falling behind 32-21 through one quarter of play, Houston battled back outscoring New York 30-25 in the second quarter to take a six-point deficit into the locker room at halftime.

Upon coming out in the third quarter to outscore the Knicks 27-22, the Rockets found themselves down just one heading to the fourth quarter.
And Houston dominated the final period of play, outscoring New York by 10 points to walk away with a nine-point victory and ending the teamโs three-game skid.
Luis Scola led the way for the Rockets in scoring with 23 points (along with seven boards) while teammate Aaron Brooks poured in 20 points, four assists and four rebounds.
Also scoring in double-figures for Houston was Kyle Lowry (16 PTS), Carl Landry (14 PTS), Trevor Ariza (10 PTS) and David Anderson (10 PTS).
Rockets starter Shane Battier also contributed with six rebounds, five assists, four points, and three blocked shots.
Houston returns to the hardwood for a pair of back-to-backs on Tuesday Jan. 12, when the Rockets hit the road to face Charlotte, and Wednesday Jan. 13, when they return home to the Toyota Center to host Minnesota.
